Bronson Reed was set to qualify for The Elimination Chamber last night on WWE RAW, but after splitting up the pin between Jey Uso and El Grande Americano, he tore his bicep and was forced out of the match.
Jey Uso picked up the win, and it was later revealed that Bronson would be out of action indefinitely. The former champion has since taken to Instagram to share an image of himself with the song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” as the backing to the post.
Thanks for the submission!
It’s clear that Reed wanted to go to Elimination Chamber and secure himself a match at WrestleMania, but now he could be looking at a few months on the sidelines, and his WrestleMania dream is slipping away.
How long will Bronson Reed be on the sidelines?
Bronson Reed could miss WrestleMania, which takes place in less than eight weeks’ time, but there is also a chance that he could be back before then.
Distal bicep tears can be treated in many ways, and the severity of the injury will be what dictates his recovery time. He could be back in as little as four weeks with surgery if not too severe, or he could be out of action for much longer.
After spending much of last year on the sidelines because of an ankle injury and missing WrestleMania 41, this was the last thing that he needed. The Vision has gone from a faction to a tag team in the space of three weeks, and now it seems that WWE has a lot to assess before WrestleMania.
Bron Breakker was expected to make his return before the biggest event of the year, but Reed had been pushed into a slot where he could have taken his place if needed, but now WWE has been handed a fresh injury blow.
