#3. This mystery attacker is a decoy
One of the reasons WWE pulled this unmasking angle of the mystery man on SmackDown was because it wasn’t the real mystery man. The movement of this mystery attacker appeared to be different from that of the other person who attacked The Vision members earlier.
The mystery man on the blue brand could be a decoy planted by the original person, and done only to distract The Vision members. Now, the faction members will feel that they have exposed the mystery attacker and will be left stunned when the real one appears and costs them again.

Earlier, Seth Rollins was speculated to be the mystery man. This was particularly after the black hooded figure attacked Bron Breakker at Royal Rumble 2026. As per rumors, Rollins and Breakker were supposed to have a match at WrestleMania 42.
Meanwhile, the idea was scrapped after Bron was expected to miss this year’s Showcase of the Immortals. The reason why Logan Paul unmasked an unknown man as the mystery attacker on the blue brand could be that the company might still be confused about the real identity of the attacker.
If Bron was there, Rollins might have already been revealed as the mystery man.

The mystery man storyline is a major part of the WWE landscape. After its introduction in the Men’s Rumble match, the mystery attacker assaulted Vision members multiple times on WWE RAW.
Unmasking the black hooded figure on SmackDown with an unknown star could be done to put the storyline on hold. Later, the company could resume the storyline when Seth Rollins is fit to compete or when Bron Breakker recovers from injury.
