“this is how we get in the Death Riders”- Former WWE champion goes bald, AEW star reacts to his new look

A former WWE champion currently employed by AEW was shaved bald after losing a major stipulation bout recently. Now, one of his stable-mates has taken to social media to point out the silver lining to Johnny TV losing his hair- the prospects of MxM TV aligning with The Death Riders.

The erstwhile John Morrison has been making regular appearances in AEW and in the Jacksonville-based company’s sister-promotion, Ring of Honor, since around 2023. After his initial stint as a member of QT Marshall’s unit “QTV”, his feud with Dalton Castle in ROH, and his subsequent run as a singles competitor (with matches against the likes of PAC, Hook, Claudio Castagnoli, Dustin Rhodes, Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin and Daniel Garcia), the former multi-time WWE champion aligned himself with MxM Collection in late 2024.

Since then, the faction of Mansoor, Mason Madden and Johnny TV- together known as MxM TV- have been sporadically competing as a trio in AEW and ROH. From the start of 2026, the group has also been prolifically active in CMLL. This Friday, at CMLL Viernes Espectacular, Johnny Consejo (as the former “Guru of Greatness” is referred to in the Mexican promotion) lost to Angel De Oro in a Hair vs Hair match. The loss, which put an end to the star’s recent winning streak, also resulted in him being shaved bald post-match.

Now, Johnny’s teammate Mason Madden has reacted to his ally’s new look on X/Twitter in hilarious fashion, claiming that losing their hair could potentially enable MxM TV to join The Death Riders.

“It’s fine guys, this is how we get in the Death Riders.” – Madden wrote.

Notably, while working commentary last November on Collision, Jon Moxley, the leader of The Death Riders, stated that he “liked” MxM TV, a detail that amused viewers in light of the stark differences between the two factions.

When were MxM TV last seen in action in AEW?

Johnny TV, Mansoor and Mason Madden last competed in an All Elite Wrestling ring last year on AEW Collision: Thanksgiving. The stable took on the fan-favorite team of Dalton Castle and The Outrunners in trios action, but were unsuccessful in their efforts.

It remains to be seen when the former Johnny “Elite” will return to the Tony Khan-led promotion’s programming.
