Dominik Mysterio had an off night on WWE RAW after Elimination Chamber. He is no longer the Intercontinental Champion.
Triple H took a big step immediately after, which is unlikely to sit well with the Judgment Day member.
Thanks for the submission!
During the March 2nd edition of RAW, Dirty Dom put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Penta.
The odds were stacked against the Mexican luchador right from the beginning, as Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were at ringside. However, the dissension among the Judgment Day cost Dominik Mysterio the title.
The closing moments of the match saw Dominik ask JD to hand him a hammer, but Balor came in his way as he wanted Dom to handle things on his own.
The distraction allowed Penta to nail Dominik with a Mexican Destroyer to win the first singles title in WWE. This brought an end to Dirty Dom’s second run with the Intercontinental Championship, which lasted nearly 100 days.
After the show, the Chief Content Officer, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, took to his X/Twitter to share his trademark pointing-finger pose with Penta backstage.
In the caption, he wrote the following message for the newly-crowned champion:
“Cero Miedo…El Campeón #AndNew @PENTAELZEROM”

What’s next for Dominik Mysterio after losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship?
With the automatic rematch clause no longer in place, it doesn’t seem like Dom will get an opportunity to get back his Intercontinental Championship, at least for the time being.
Fans have been wondering when Triple H will pull the trigger on a feud between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. It is possible that the Irishman’s actions could be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
The road to WrestleMania 42 is getting interesting as the Show of Shows fast approaches. Will Dominik kick Balor out of the Judgment Day? Only time will tell.
