On March 5, 2020, Ryan Tedder spoke about his experience working with BTS, recalling a moment related to member Jimin. The producer shared the story through Instagram while discussing his involvement in the group’s comeback album, ARIRANG.
In an Instagram post, the producer-singer revealed that he contributed to five tracks on the album namely Body to Body, Please, Normal, SWIM, and Merry Go Round. In the caption of his post, Tedder expressed his excitement about the project.
He described the experience as unexpected and enjoyable. He then praised the group members, thanking the HYBE team for the opportunity. He further humorously mentioned needing to learn choreography and Korean before attending a concert and joked about hoping to receive free merchandise.
The post quickly drew attention from fans, who filled the comments section with messages of appreciation and anticipation for the album. During the interaction, one fan thanked Tedder for working with BTS. In response, he jokingly replied that his motivation for the collaboration was to obtain Jimin’s “secret” bulgogi recipe, adding that he had not received it yet.

Jimin secures his 57th No. 1 in Brand Reputation Rankings ahead of BTS’ comeback
In other updates regarding Jimin, in February 2026, the idol ranked first in the individual boy group brand reputation rankings once again. The latest result was his 57th time at No. 1, the highest total recorded by any male K-pop idol in the category. He also remained the only artist to maintain the top position for 35 consecutive months.
Meanwhile BTS‘ fifth full-length studio album ARIRANG is set to release on March 20, 2026. The project is the group’s first studio comeback since their 2022 anthology album Proof.
The 14-track record, ARIRANG is structured to balance performance-driven songs with more introspective material. On March 3, 2026, the group unveiled the complete tracklist, which includes:

BIGHIT MUSIC has earlier confirmed that all seven members have been involved in developing the music and overall concept of the album. According to the songwriting credits released on March 3, Jimin is listed as a contributor on two tracks from ARIRANG.
He participated in writing Into The Sun alongside V, RM, Suga, and j-hope. He also contributed to they don’t know ‘bout us with RM, Suga, and j-hope.
To celebrate the comeback, BTS will hold a special showcase titled BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang on March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square. The event will also stream globally on Netflix.The platform is also scheduled to release a documentary on the group that will follow the members’ reunion in Los Angeles after completing their military service. The film titled BTS The Return, will release on March 27.
Following the album launch, BTS is expected to begin a large-scale world tour starting April 9 in South Korea. The tour is reportedly planned to extend through 2026 and 2027, with around 82 concerts across 34 cities in Asia, the United States, Latin America, and other regions.
