The Zero Hour show leading up to AEW Revolution 2026 saw a chaotic battle royal take place. During the highly exhilarating action, a popular lucha star was unmasked for the first time on live television.
The aforementioned star in question is Komander. On the Zero Hour show before the main Revolution pay-per-view event, a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal took place for Ricochet’s AEW National Championship. Multiple stars from the locker room attempted to win the newly introduced title for themselves, while The King of Flight fought hard to defend it.
Amid the chaotic affair, Komander found himself on the ring apron hanging for dear life to stay in the match. He managed to eliminate one competitor, only to encounter the Death Rider’s member, Daniel Garcia, then. In a scuffle that happened, Garcia ripped off his mask and threw him off the apron, thereby eliminating him from the match.
Adding insult to injury, Garcia put on the mask, much to the dismay of the audience, who booed him for ripping the sacred mask off the luchador. However, his antics did not secure him the victory, as Jack Perry won the match and became the new National Champion.

Major update on WWE legend debuting at AEW Revolution 2026
Just hours before the AEW Revolution 2026 event began, an update regarding WWE legend AJ Styles showing up at the event came in. According to Fightful, there was no chance of that happening at all.
“For some reason, we’ve still been getting inquiries about AJ Styles appearing at Revolution. He’s not. He isn’t planned, and isn’t going to be there.” [H/T RSN]
The Phenomenal One retired from in-ring competition at the 2026 Royal Rumble event. He is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and also revealed to be working with the company in a new role, thereby further ruling out any chance to going to All Elite Wrestling at the moment.
