Carl’s request in Crimson Desert is a side mission that you will find in the Howling Hill region of the map. Completing this quest is extremely easy, as you will need to deliver a set of goods to one of the many NPCs in Pywel. You will encounter this quest fairly early on in the game, especially while exploring the Hernand region in the map.

Crimson Desert: Carl’s request walkthrough
Carl’s request is a faction quest in Crimson Desert that you will find in the Hernand region of the map. Essentially, you will be tasked with delivering 5 thick hides to the Totesmith Tannery. It is one of the quests that you will have to do as part of the Greymane faction missions.
Once you accept the comission, you will need to go to the Totesmith Tannery and deliver the items to the Dyer there. You can find the location of your objective on the image of the map below.
Head to the location and you will spot the Tannery gate. Go through it and you will find the dyer to your left (wearing a orange shirt in all likeliness). Talk to him and you will get the option to deliver the items to him.
Once you complete Carl’s request and deliver the goods to the Totesmith Tannery, you will need to go back and talk to him in the camp which is located to the south of Hernand. Doing so will reward you with Medium Bag x1, giving you money in Crimson Desert.
