Steven Borden has just been spotted competing in a match for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. While specific details from his appearance have not been revealed, he was revealed to be part of the lineup for NJPW Academy’s 3rd Anniversary Showcase. This is taking place at the promotion’s LA Dojo. This is his debut match for the company.
Sting’s son competed before AEW Dynamite this week
Sting’s son was also spotted in a dark match earlier, a few days ago, just right before the last episode of AEW Dynamite in Fresno, California. He took on Fred Rosser (fka Darren Young) in singles action.
It is important to note that Rosser has been one of those who has been training Steven Borden. He even noted that this has become a personal project of his.
There has been nothing but praise for Borden’s in-ring work following the official start of his wrestling career. Tony Khan has expressed his excitement about seeing his growth as a competitor, and this could lead to him signing with the promotion in the future. He has now competed in several major promotions and could eventually get the spotlight once he is ready.
