The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t have the most ideal quarterback room at the moment, but a franchise legend is trying to change that.
During a recent episode of the “Deebo & Joe” podcast, former Steelers star linebacker James Harrison admitted he’s trying to lure the starting quarterback of a Pittsburgh rival in the AFC North, specifically Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals.
“I’ve been conversing with him on here on a weekly, bi-weekly basis,” Harrison shared. “We’ve been having conversations. I talked to him on the phone yesterday.”
The former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Harrison also said that Burrow will speak with Cincinnati owner Mike Brown to see what can be done to facilitate the quarterback’s trade to the Steelers.
“We’ve been talking about him… he’s going to go up there, talk to Mr. [Mike] Brown to see what he needs to do to get into black and gold.”
