Italy are three points behind Poland and currently occupy the playoff spot, thanks to a 4-0 thumping victory over North Macedonia U21 on Thursday that extended their record in the qualifiers to six wins in seven matches.
The Azzurrini have only missed out on two of the last 10 editions of the continental showpiece and will be looking to get at least a draw on Tuesday which will confirm a second-place finish in Group E.
