    While many of the show’s top names are expected to show, a new report suggests fans could also see rapper Lil Yachty make an appearance.

    With WrestleMania 42 just a few weeks away, the promotion is going all in with celebrity involvement ahead of the show. On RAW, fans saw popular streamer iShowSpeed make an appearance and even interfere in the World Tag Team Title match.

    Now, according to a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Lil Yachty is likely to show up on SmackDown. The report mentions that the rapper has been in negotiations with WWE for quite some time.

    It is also reported that there is a possibility that this could lead to a WrestleMania appearance and a working relationship beyond that event. Yachty is a big WWE fan and has attended quite a few shows in the past, such as the Survivor Series premium live event last year.

    Notably, this report comes after SmackDown superstar Trick Williams invited Lil Yachty to come to the show this week. In a video posted on X, the former NXT champion said he needs the rapper to pull up to the blue brand and “spice things up.”

    Williams is scheduled to face Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 42 for the United States championship. It will be interesting to see if Lil Yachty’s appearance leads to an alliance with the 31-year-old star.

    As WWE continues to build to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, fans are seeing frequent appearances from celebrities on weekly programming.

    Country music star Jelly Roll has been a part of SmackDown in the last few weeks and competed on the show last Friday.

    He faced Kit Wilson in a singles match and emerged victorious after a choke slam. The singer also featured in the main event segment involving Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. He tried to resolve the tension between them but ended up taking an RKO from The Viper.
