On what’s expected to be a belter of a batting surface, we’re backing the RCB openers to run riot and make a mockery of the CSK bowling lineup. Virat Kohli was in fine form against SRH, and he loves playing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, making him one of the easiest transfers in.
Phil Salt was a livewire on the field against SRH, and took a couple of stellar catches to turn the game RCB’s way in the curtain-raiser of IPL 2026. While he couldn’t deliver with the bat in that game, he’ll look to take on the CSK bowlers and get his team off to a rollicking start.
We could be tempted to take Heinrich Klaasen out to make a third transfer, depending on the toss and the team news.
