A wild brawl broke out in Anaheim on Tuesday in the Los Angeles Angels’ game against the Atlanta Braves.
Angels slugger Jorge Soler took exception to a ball that got away from Braves starter Reynaldo Lopez with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning at Angel Stadium. Soler charged the mound and the two squared up once they were face-to-face.
Both men fired huge haymakers, but neither connected cleanly on any blows.
Benches from both dugouts cleared, and they needed everybody in the dugout to keep the pair from mauling one another.
