New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced POTUS Donald Trump during an event in Rockland County on Friday. This decision has left his fanbase with a divided opinion on him and his political inclination.
One of the people who questioned Dart for being a part of Trump’s event is his teammate and former Penn State Nittany Lions star, Abdul Carter. After sharing his initial thoughts on the situation, he followed up with another post clarifying that it will not lead to any locker room tension.

However, analyst Jason Whitlock called out Carter for capitalizing on the Jaxson Dart situation for fame. In a tweet on Saturday, he shared the linebacker’s post and criticized him for clout chasing.

“Clout secured. Now Abdul can move to his next chase. Hopefully it includes chasing opposing quarterbacks rather than his own,” Whitlock tweeted.

At the podium during the event, Dart welcomed Donald Trump to Rockland County with a brief speech.
“Big Blue Nation, it’s a pleasure to be here,” Dart said while starting a ‘Go Big Blue’ chant. “What an honor, what a privilege to be here. And without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.”
Abdul Carter posted the clip on X with a caption that read:
“Thought this s**t was AI, what we doing man,” Carter wrote.
The Giants drafted both Dart and Abdul Carter last year. The linebacker was the third overall pick in the first round, while the quarterback went to the team with the No. 25 pick.
