The wrestling world is shattered by the tragic news of AEW’s PAC’s death. The 40-year-old British talent, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, was admired by many and respected for his real-life personality. Wrestlers from all over the world are sending condolences to the late star, including WWE names like Natalya and Adam Pearce, as well as former AEW star Danhausen.
One of the first to pay respect to PAC was Danhausen, as he wrote on X how kind and welcoming The Bastard was when they shared a locker room. It must’ve been through the AEW days and also some indie shows they might have been together at. The Very Nice, Very Evil star kept the message small but wrote exactly how he felt with the suddenness of it.
Thanks for the submission!
“I’m speechless. My heart goes out to the family, friends, and everyone affected by the passing of Pac. Ben, you were an incredible performer. I truly enjoyed every interaction we had…even the ones that sucked. It was a pleasure to be around your passion, to watch you work, and to work alongside you. Godspeed, Bastard Pac. Rest well, my friend. 🙏” wrote Adam Pearce
“I am so sad to hear this news. Pac was always so respectful and kind to me, especially during his time at NXT when he and TJ were working a lot together. I’ll always remember how passionate Pac was about wrestling, but equally, how much respect he showed everyone around him. Every time TJ was in the ring with him, he wanted to make Ben proud and be his absolute best. That always stayed with me and said so much about the kind of person he was. My heart goes out to Pac’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him. This is an immeasurable loss. I’m so grateful I had the chance to know him.” wrote Natalya.
Pearce and Natalya, though, opened up with paragraphs dedicated to PAC. Adam claimed to be speechless and said how much pleasure it was to be working with him in every interaction they had. Meanwhile, Natalya took it back to their NXT days when the former Neville and her husband, TJ Wilson, were working together. Ever since then, she knew how passionate he was about wrestling. She claims to be grateful to have known PAC.
PAC wrestled his final match less than 24 hours ago in AEW
On Saturday night live from NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, AEW held its annual All Out pay-per-view. The opening match featured Andrade El Idolo as the AEW National Champion defending his title against PAC.
Andrade defeated the British star even after multiple interferences from the latter’s stablemate, Marina Shafir of Death Riders. It is indeed a heartbreak for AEW to have lost The Bastard.
