Apple preparing for release of iPhone 17: Leaks show model will feature dramatic alterations

Apple fans will have to wait a few more months before the iPhone 17 is released, but recent leaks have given a glimpse as to what consumers can expect.

While Apple has been great at keeping a close lid on details when it comes to their products, that isn’t the case with the upcoming release of their new phone.

    Realme 14 Pro+ wows with temperature-sensitive color-changing tech

Photos on X show the metal “dummy models’ of what the camera on the iPhone 17 might look like. Each metal model has a slightly different design: one was vertical with two lenses and the other three had rectangular bars, with one or three lenses.

The models also vary in size, as one looked noticeably thinner – signalling that it could perhaps be the iPhone Air. Its design will no doubt be welcome for people who aren’t fans of putting big phones into their pockets.

The Air is set to replace the iPhone Pro model and will reportedly be super thin, measuring in at just 0.2 inches wide and very light. Forbes reports it may have an Action Button rather than the Ring/Mute slider.

New iPhone 17 will cost you

While fans will have to wait before the presale for the latest model begins, Tech Radar is already reporting that the latest phone might have one of the most expensive models ever.

While it is unknown which model that will be, the belief is that the Air will be the most affordable.

As with most leaks online, there was plenty of chatter on social media about the new design.

“There is no way a human being could like this camera design,” one person wrote.

Another added: “I’m not sure who Apple is making iPhones for anymore.

A third wrote:  “Hate the camera bump.”

Some fans even discussed the release of the iPhone 18, though that lineup is scheduled to hit stores shelves for another 18 months.

  • The truth about Taylor Swift's presence at Chiefs games: 'Hell, they don't focus on her as much as Jerry Jones!'

The truth about Taylor Swift's presence at Chiefs games: 'Hell, they don't focus on her as much as Jerry Jones!'

As debates continue over Taylor Swift’s presence at NFL games, country music legend Vince Gill has made it clear-he doesn’t see the issue.

While some football fans have voiced frustration over the pop star’s appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, Gill thinks the backlash is unnecessary.

Taylor Swift’s unflattering footage uncovered by ‘social media sleuths’

Gill praises Swift’s talent and charisma

Speaking in a recent interview with the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Gill shared his admiration for Swift, recalling their past collaboration at the CMA Awards.

“She’s awesome. I’m crazy about her,” he said, reminiscing about the acoustic performance of her hit song “Red” alongside Alison Krauss.

He also acknowledged Swift’s undeniable presence, comparing her to cultural icons like Dolly Parton, Michael Jordan, and Michael Jackson.

“There’s just a handful of people that have that charisma, that thing. They own a room,” he explained.

Dolly Parton, she owns a room. It’s fascinating to watch.”

Gill also took a lighthearted approach to the criticism Swift has faced for attending Kelce’s games. He recalled a conversation where someone asked for his thoughts on the matter.

“Hell, they don’t cut away to her as much as they do Jerry Jones at the Dallas Cowboys games-what’s the big deal?”

He pointed out that, according to one estimate, Swift was only shown on screen for 44 seconds during a three-and-a-half-hour game.

“You’re uptight about that? Really? I don’t get it,” he said, dismissing the controversy.

While Swift’s game-day appearances have fueled media discussions, Gill believes the scrutiny is simply part of being a global superstar.

“The level of attention that comes with that kind of popularity is staggering,” he remarked.

At its core, though, Gill sees nothing unusual about the situation.

“It’s just a girl that likes a guy, and they’re going to a ballgame,” he said, brushing off the controversy.

Swift and Kelce have continued to enjoy their time together despite the public debate. Following Super Bowl LIX-where the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles-the couple took a trip to Park City, Utah, and was later spotted dining at Del Frisco’s Grille in New York City.

For Gill, the backlash surrounding Swift’s presence at NFL games is overblown. To him, it’s just a love story-one that happens to unfold on the sidelines of America’s favorite sport.

  • Why Angel Reese has dubbed Maryland's Derik Queen 'Baby Jokic'

Why Angel Reese has dubbed Maryland's Derik Queen 'Baby Jokic'

WNBA superstar Angel Reese has her eyes set on a future basketball sensation, and she’s made her opinion known.

As Maryland took on Michigan in a tense March Madness showdown on Saturday, Reese took to social media to shout out Derik Queen, comparing the 6-foot-10 freshman center to none other than Nikola Jokic, the reigning NBA MVP.

Slaying TikTok! Angel Reese shows she’s a boss

Reese, known for her sharp basketball insights as well as her on-court dominance, wasn’t holding back when she called Queen “Baby Jokic” in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Watching Queen’s commanding presence on the court, it’s clear to see why Reese made such a bold statement.

Derik Queen’s Game Mirrors Jokic’s Versatility

Even though Maryland narrowly fell to Michigan in an 80-81 thriller, Queen’s performance proved why he’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting players in college basketball.

This season, Queen is averaging 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, all while shooting 53% from the field – numbers that make him one of the top freshmen in the country.

But stats only tell part of the story. Like Jokic, Queen possesses rare ball-handling and playmaking skills for a big man. His ability to create shots from the perimeter, handle the ball smoothly, and make smart passes is reminiscent of what has made Jokic an NBA superstar.

Maryland head coach Kevin Willard even remarked to CBS: “If [Queen] was White and European, he’d be the first pick in the draft.”

It’s a striking comment that highlights both Queen’s extraordinary talent and the ongoing discussion about how players are evaluated in the NBA draft process.

Coaches and Players Rave About Queen’s Impact

Though his assist numbers might not jump off the page, those watching closely know that Queen has elite court vision and creativity, especially for a player his size.

Speaking about Queen’s impact on the game, Michigan guard Rubin Jones shared: “He’s definitely a good player. He puts a lot of pressure on you even though he’s not shooting the ball or nothing like that. He’s light on his feet to be so big.”

Michigan’s Will Tschetter also praised Queen, adding: “[Queen’s] very tough to guard with that skill set, versatility is really tough. Obviously hasn’t shot it the greatest from three, but you know came on tonight and shot really well from three.”

Beyond his impressive stats and flashy plays, Queen’s calm demeanor and ability to read the game set him apart. His passing ability, particularly when on the move, is something NBA scouts look for – and it’s another reason Reese wasn’t afraid to put him in the same conversation as Jokic.

As Queen continues to shine under the March Madness spotlight, his stock is only rising, and Angel Reese might be onto something. Whether he reaches Jokic’s heights remains to be seen, but with his unique skill set and growing reputation, he’s certainly on the radar as a future NBA standout.

  • Dick Vitale gets emotional during ACC title game after lengthy battles with cancer: A tough three years

Dick Vitale gets emotional during ACC title game after lengthy battles with cancer: A tough three years

Dick Vitale has battled through plenty of health scares over the past few years, which made his call of the Duke-Louisville ACC Tournament championship game on Saturday night all the more memorable.

Back in December, the 85-year-old announced he was cancer-free after four battles with the disease over three years.

Big controversy! North Carolina loss to Duke causes outrage and fans demand an investigation

Although he didn’t work any of the ACC Tournament games as doctors advised him not to call more than one game a week after several vocal cord surgeries, he was in the booth on Saturday to see Duke claim a 73-62 win.

The moment was an emotional one for Vitale, who shared what it meant to be there with his colleagues and fans.

“It’s like to me a miracle to sit here with you guys,” Vitale said. “I can’t tell you how much you’ve meant to me. It’s been unbelievable. A tough three years. Those four cancer battles. I don’t wish it on anybody. Cancer sucks.”

Vitale had cancerous lymph nodes removed from his neck last summer and was treated for melanoma and lymphoma before that. He also underwent radiation treatments for vocal cord cancer last year.

“It’s my last game this year and I’m praying, hopefully, I can be back next year, maybe even better,” Vitale said. “I hope and pray my doctor really helps me with my voice.”

“I want to thank all the fans, all the people that have been so beautiful, all my people at ESPN tolerating and putting up with me in terms of my issues I’ve had. You’ve been great.”

    Vitale watches Duke win

Saturday night’s game was the final of the season for Vitale, and what a game it was as Duke came out on top even without the services of Cooper Flagg.

The win secured the Blue Devils their second ACC title in three years and 23rd overall – the most of any team in conference history. That puts them five ahead of rivals North Carolina, who Duke defeated in the semi-finals.

“Two down and one to go,” said tournament MVP Kan Knueppel said, referring to the upcoming NCAA Tournament in which the Blue Devils are a lock to be the No. 1 overall seed.

  • They don't want to see them again: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's new appearance angers fans

They don't want to see them again: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's new appearance angers fans

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have kept a rather low-profile in recent times, opting to spend time together away from the limelight rather than make public appearances.

Ever since Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a heavy defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, the couple have opted to bounce back from the disappointment by taking a vacation abroad.

Oops! Taylor Swift embarrassed as she accidentally dragged her parents to a party in a rowdy club

Since returning, they’ve also had a couple of date nights – all while keeping away from the eye of the public though.

Try as they might to keep away from the paparazzi, there are photos of the couple swirling around social media during a recent night out in New York City.

There were plenty of fans who were happy to catch a glimpse of Swift and Kelce, but some were angered at the sight of the couple.

    Why some fans were angry

“this (expletive) irks me to no extent like can we just leave her be and not post her every move like this .. idk its so annoying and it just is like dissecting her life,” read a comment on X.

“STOP IT LOOKS LIKE SHES HIDING,” added another.

A third wrote: “So? Leave them be ffs.”

Another wrote: “It makes me sad that “someone”, feels “pap” shots have to released to quiet rumours. That this couple can’t just live in peace & quiet.”

Given Swift is usually very deliberate with what she does, some fans believe she is laying low for a good reason. That’s why they would prefer the paparazzi keep their distance from the couple for the time being.

  • Stephen Curry has some good advice for Draymond Green after copying and smoothing out his iconic celebration

Stephen Curry has some good advice for Draymond Green after copying and smoothing out his iconic celebration

Stephen Curry‘s ‘night-night’ gesture has taken the league by storm. Since introducing it during the 2022 NBA Playoffs, Curry‘s iconic move-resting his head on his hands as if going to sleep-has become a global sensation. Even international stars such as Lionel Messi have mimicked the celebration on the soccer field.

Now, one of Curry‘s own teammates has given it a go, and the results have sparked plenty of conversation. During the Golden State Warriors‘ 97-94 victory over the New York Knicks, Draymond Green had his moment to shine.

With under 30 seconds left in the game, Green delivered a clutch basket, putting the Warriors up by six points. As the Chase Center crowd erupted in cheers, Green confidently pulled out his version of the ‘night-night’ celebration-a moment that was both entertaining and, as Curry would later describe, much improved from his previous attempts.

Steph Curry evaluates Green’s take on his famous move

Following the game, Curry was asked about Green’s version of his signature move during the post-game press conference. The four-time NBA champion had plenty to say about his teammate’s execution.

“I did know he’s evolved his version of it since the Minnesota game earlier in the year. He’s softened it a little bit,” Curry noted.

Curry was referring to an earlier instance on December 8 when Green attempted the ‘night-night’ celebration after sealing a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves with a late-game dunk over Rudy Gobert.

However, his overly aggressive take on the move-complete with a dramatic sprint down the court-quickly became the subject of online memes. Even in the Warriors‘ locker room, Moses Moody jokingly dubbed it ‘the nightmare’ rather than ‘night-night’ because of how exaggerated it looked.

This time, however, Curry acknowledged that Green had toned it down, keeping it closer to the original.

“He’s brought it down to where a pillow is supposed to really be. I realized he does everything aggressive and with his whole body, so I’m giving that a solid A- effort on the ‘night-night’ tonight. That was beautiful,” Curry added with a smile.

  • Kate Middleton gives up major family milestone to accompany Prince William at the Six Nations

Kate Middleton gives up major family milestone to accompany Prince William at the Six Nations

Kate Middleton and Prince William were in attendance for England’s trip to Wales for Six Nations rugby action – even it meant missing out on a milestone for Kate’s sister Pippa.

The game took place at Principality Stadium, and the fact Kate and William were there should come as no surprise. That’s because William is patron of Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) and Kate holds a similar position with the Rugby Football Union (RFC).

Kate certainly left the game with a smile as England claimed victory in dominant fashion thanks to a 68-14 scoreline.

The result will no doubt ease the sting of missing a big family occasion involving sister Pippa.

Kate and William taking in the Six Nations game meant they had to miss out on the fourth birthday of Grace Matthews, the daughter of Kate’s sister Pippa and husband James Matthews. The couple have three children together: Arthur, six, Grace, four, and Rose, one.

Kate and William’s rugby rivalry is strong

Kate and William stand on opposite sides when it comes to rugby due to their patronages. Back in 2023 William joked that it would be a “tense journey home” with his wife after the game.

The fact Kate attended a game is another sign she is slowly returning to public duties. She is also scheduled for an event with the Irish Guards on St. Patrick’s Day in London on Monday.

Prior to the game on Saturday, Kate and William also met injuries players who have been supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust inside the Sir Tasker Watkins Suite.

  • The fight between DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons shouldn't have left the locker room: 'Dirty laundry is washed at home'

The fight between DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons shouldn't have left the locker room: 'Dirty laundry is washed at home'

While most of the NFL world has been focused on free agency, the emerging feud betweenMicah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence has also garnered plenty of attention.

Parsons remains a Dallas Cowboys player, but Lawrence has moved on and joined the the Seattle Seahawks after signing a three-year, $42 million contract.

Mighty! Micah Parsons channels his inner beast with real-life lion

Despite spending several seasons together, tensions came to a head on Friday night when a Seahawks fan posted a video of Lawrence giving an interview for his new team.

“Change of scenery is always good, but Dallas is my home,” Lawrence told Hawk Blogger. “Made my home there, my family lives there. I’m forever gonna be there, but I know for sure I’m not going to win a Super Bowl there. So, yeah. We here.”

The move is a big change for Lawrence, who spent the first 11 years of his career in Dallas and was named to the Pro Bowl four times.

Although Lawrence made it clear Dallas is his home, his comments didn’t sit well with Parsons, who has been with the Cowboys since 2021.

“This what rejection and envy look like,” said Parsons. “This some clown [expletive].”

Things escalated further when Lawrence took aim at Parsons’ priorities, as the Cowboys last won a Super Bowl back in 1995/96.

“Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth,” Lawrence wrote. “Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left.”

    Cowboys legend weighs in

This back and forth between two players who have been key figures for the Cowboys hasn’t gone down well with Drew Pearson.

The legendary Cowboys receiver spoke with TMZ Sports about the matter, and he stated he wished the two would air their dirty laundry away from social media.

“Too much social media!” said Pearson with his head in his hands, adding that he dealt with similar problems when he was a player – but that things were sorted out behind closed doors.

“Take care of your business on the field, and the other guys will follow suit,” Pearson said about Parsons, encouraging the pass rusher to keep his focus on the field.

Police detain Ray J after heated fight with Princess Love amid their divorce

Ray J and Princess Love‘s ongoing divorce saga took a dramatic turn when police were called to their home following an intense argument.

The couple, who have had a publicly turbulent relationship over the years, reportedly got into a heated dispute on Thursday afternoon, leading to Ray J being temporarily detained by law enforcement.

Nailed it! Jamie Foxx makes a hilarious Obama impersonation and shares that he misses the president

According to reports from TMZ, the situation began when Ray J returned home from a tour and found himself in a serious argument with Princess Love. Sources say that the dispute centered around their pending divorce and quickly escalated.

Princess Love allegedly called the LAPD during the confrontation, claiming that Ray J was being aggressive, yelling, and possibly under the influence. These claims prompted a swift response from police.

Officers Step In and Detain Ray J to De-escalate Tensions

When officers arrived at the residence, they made the decision to detain Ray J to calm the situation. Eyewitnesses say that Ray J was placed in handcuffs and sat in the back of a police car as officers attempted to piece together what had happened between the estranged couple.

Despite the dramatic scene, law enforcement sources confirmed that no crime had been committed and that Ray J was cooperative during the entire process. After speaking to both Ray J and Princess Love, police uncuffed Ray J and released him at the scene.

Video clips of Ray J interacting with police were shared online, showing him thanking the officers for their professional handling of the incident. “Thank you,” Ray J can be heard saying to the officers.

Although no arrests were made, an official domestic-violence incident report was filed – standard procedure for calls of this nature. Authorities reiterated that Ray J was never formally arrested or charged.

Divorce Drama Continues to Play Out Publicly

Ray J and Princess Love have had a history of ups and downs since tying the knot in 2016. Despite welcoming two children together, their relationship has been marred by multiple public breakups and reconciliations. The couple has filed for divorce more than once, with the most recent filing still pending.

This latest incident highlights the ongoing tension between the pair as they navigate their separation. Fans of the duo will recall that their relationship has frequently made headlines – from accusations of infidelity to explosive social media posts.

While neither Ray J nor Princess Love has issued a public statement about this latest altercation, their divorce proceedings continue, and it remains to be seen how this latest dispute might affect their case moving forward.

For now, Ray J is back home, and although the argument was intense enough to warrant police intervention, no further legal action appears to be on the horizon – at least for now.

  • Patrick Mahomes is a victim of Chiefs mismanagement according to Domonique Foxworth

Patrick Mahomes is a victim of Chiefs mismanagement according to Domonique Foxworth

There is no denying the Kansas City Chiefs were put in their place by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

Jalen Hurts and his side came out 40-22 winners, but even that score is flattering, as at one point Philadelphia found themselves up 40-6.

Patrick Mahomes changes a fan’s life in one night

The heavy defeat showed that while the Chiefs had success this past season, more is needed if they want to add another trophy to their cabinet.

Despite that, the Chiefs haven’t made any big splashes so far during free agency. In fact, they decided to trade two-time First-Team All-Pro guard Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears – a move many feel weakens what was already a poor offensive line.

While there is still plenty of time to reshape the roster, especially with the NFL Draft a little over a month away, Dominique Foxworth doesn’t think the Chiefs are making the right moves so far.

In fact, he went so far as to state that the moves the Chiefs have made so far are hurting Patrick Mahomes.

“I watched the Super Bowl. That man looked like a victim to me. I assumed that it was obvious, like the Bears, it was obvious what they had to address. O-line. The Bears went and did it. The Chiefs lost their best o-lineman,” Foxworth said while speaking with Molly Qerim.

“Their guard, who was also their best tackle, left, and the way they answered it was by getting a backup tackle from the 49ers to be… his blind side protection. It does feel like they’ve failed him.”

Not everyone hates what the Chiefs are doing

Along with trading Thuney, the Chiefs have brought in Jaylon Moore on a two-year contract despite the fact he’s only made 12 starts in his four-year NFL career.

It’s a sign that the Chiefs continue to tinker with their offensive line ever since Mahomes was chased around by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Super Bowl LV defeat.

While the moves have raised some eyebrows, Jason McCourty believes that what the Chiefs are going through is simply part of the game.

“When you’re building a dynasty you’re going to lose players. That’s just the fact of the matter… Tyreek Hill, they watched him walk out of the door. Orlando Brown was another guy. Last year, L’Jarius Sneed left, and we talked about the hole that left in the secondary,” said McCourty.

“All season long we talked about how they need to find a replacement at cornerback. They never did, and this was still a team playing in the Super Bowl. I think part of building this dynasty is you have to find ways. “
