Chris Eubank Jr. has been fined £100,000, which is roughly $129,000, by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) for striking Conor Benn in the head with an egg during their February 27 press conference in Manchester, U.K.
The media event, intended to promote their upcoming April 26 fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, quickly descended into chaos when Eubank egged Benn during the traditional face-off. Since then, speculation on if there were to be a fine had been floating in the air.

The BBBoC issued a statement following a hearing before the Stewards, stating, “Chris Eubank Jr. was found to be in breach of Regulation 25 (misconduct) for his conduct at the press conference in Manchester for the Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn contest on 26th April 2025.”

This incident is the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between the sons of U.K. boxing legends Chris Eubank Snr and Nigel Benn.
