    The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office informed it has dropped charges against Armie Hammer due to “insufficient evidence”. Despite what they claim to be an “extremely thorough review”. After briefly working at a Caribeean resort, he is now believed to be back in the United States since early 2023.

    The buzz around Hammer’s alleged abusive behavior began when an Instagram account called ‘House of Effie’ began accusing Hammer anonymously. The allegations began to snowball, with other women coming forward. The woman, identified as Effie, spoke to CNN on Wednesday and shared her dismay at the actor not facing criminal charges: “I felt a duty to speak out and file a report in order to try to hold Armie accountable for all the harm and trauma he has caused me and in order to protect other women from experiencing similar abuse.”
