The Democratic National Convention was held in Chicago, Illinois, and everyone was tunning in. Kamala Harris led the event in order to try and keep up to what Donald Trump is doing with his side of the United State Presidential election toward the voting in November.
Interesting enough, there was a very special virtual visit to the even, as the NBA star, Stephen Curry, appeared to show his support of Kamala in her run to try and get to the white House. The Golden State Warriors player was very excited to be part of this.
“It has been an honor for me to represent our country, it is an honor to support Kamala, let’s all do our part,” said Curry, with the gold medal won at the Paris Olympics hanging around his neck, in a one-minute video which was projected on the screens at the United Center in Chicago.
It was a very interesting event
Stephen Curry visited the White House last year as a guest after he won his last NBA title with the Warriors. Now he is looking to give Kamala a push to bring her back there. “I had the opportunity to visit Kamala with my team last year at the White House. I can say one thing, I knew then, and I definitely know now, the Oval Office suits her very well,” he said.
It is very clear that Curry has been a democratic his whole life and after this appearance he hopes it could boost Kamala’s chance to get to be the first woman president of the United State.
“Kamala as president can restore that unity and continue to move our country forward. This is about preserving hope and faith in our country. Ensuring that families can be cared for in the most difficult times,” he said.
