    “When it turns on day one in India, people say, ‘Oh, there is a puff of dust’. We need to stay neutral, especially match referees. I would love to see how the pitches are rated. I still can’t believe the World Cup final pitch was rated below standard. A player got a hundred there. They must rate pitches based on what they see, not based on countries,” the 36-year-old added.

    In anticipation of the upcoming Test series against India, South Africa‘s coach, Shukri Conrad, has provided a crucial update on the availability of key pacers Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi. Following the setback of losing the One Day International (ODI) series to a Rohit Sharma-less Team India, the Proteas are keen on making a strong comeback in the Test format. The two Tests are scheduled to take place in Centurion from December 26-30 and in Cape Town from January 3-7, 2024.
