Tyreek Hill may be Jerry Jones' secret surprise on Draft day: I would not be shocked by the trade to the Cowboys

The Miami Dolphins and star wide receiver Tyreek Hill appeared to have patched up their differences after a turbulent offseason, but rumors of a potential trade continue to swirl. Earlier this year, Hill expressed frustration with the team and hinted at wanting to play for a Super Bowl contender. However, after discussions with the organization, he reaffirmed his commitment to Miami.

Despite this, former Green Bay Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert believes the Dolphins could still move on from their veteran playmaker-potentially as early as the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

    A draft-day blockbuster?

Benkert recently took to social media, floating the idea that Miami might decide to part ways with Hill on draft night. He even named two franchises that he believes could be in the mix for the star receiver: the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens.

“I would not be shocked to see the Dolphins trade Tyreek Hill on draft night,” Benkert wrote on X. “My ideal landing spots for him are Dallas and Baltimore. With Dallas, they get to add some firepower, which they will need to compete in their division this year. It would also take eyes off of CeeDee Lamb-allowing for both of their efficiencies to go through the roof.”

The Cowboys, who are always looking for an edge in their highly competitive division, could benefit from adding another elite playmaker alongside Lamb. Hill’s speed and deep-threat ability could open up the field for quarterback Dak Prescott, making an already potent offense even more dangerous.

Benkert also sees a perfect fit for Hill in Baltimore, where the Ravens are looking to build around MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson.

“With Baltimore, he would be able to join an aging roster to help close the gap in their AFC title run – and would be the best receiver Lamar Jackson has ever played with,” Benkert added.

Hill’s arrival in Baltimore would undoubtedly provide Jackson with a dynamic weapon, something the Ravens have lacked in recent years. As the team looks to capitalize on its championship window, acquiring a proven game-changer like Hill could be the final piece they need to reach the Super Bowl.

  • Odell Beckham Jr responds to explosive Diddy 'freak-off' allegations, as controversial video resurfaces

Odell Beckham Jr responds to explosive Diddy 'freak-off' allegations, as controversial video resurfaces

Odell Beckham Jr. is no stranger to the spotlight, but this time, it’s for all the wrong reasons. The star wide receiver has found himself linked to an explosive lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, thanks to an amended complaint that also names comedian Druski. While OBJ hasn’t been accused of any wrongdoing, his name in the lawsuit-and a newly resurfaced video-has social media buzzing.

The lawsuit, filed by Ashley Parham, details disturbing allegations against Diddy and others regarding a 2018 gathering. The amended complaint now includes Druski, who is accused of following Diddy’s orders to assault Parham. Druski has denied the claims, calling them “a fabricated lie,” while Beckham Jr. was quick to distance himself in the comedian’s comment section.

Druski spills on hanging with Odell Beckham Jr in Diddy’s crew

A resurfaced video adds another layer to the story

As the internet reacts, a past interview with Druski has resurfaced, reigniting speculation. In the clip, Druski appears to dodge questions about Diddy’s infamous “freak-off” parties but does mention spending time with Diddy’s sons and Odell Beckham Jr. While this could be harmless name-dropping, the timing of the resurfaced video has people questioning what else might come out.

Beckham Jr. has yet to comment beyond his initial denial, but the internet isn’t letting this go. Online discussions have shifted from the lawsuit itself to OBJ’s connections, with fans wondering whether this clip is just a coincidence or something worth paying more attention to.

Meanwhile, legal experts suggest that more details could emerge as the case progresses. Rolling Stone and The New York Times have both reported on the mounting allegations against Diddy, and as scrutiny builds, so does the pressure on those connected to him.

For now, OBJ is doing damage control. Whether the internet moves on or digs deeper remains to be seen, but this story isn’t going away anytime soon.

  • Tyreek Hill fires back at Noah Lyles as their speed showdown gets real

Tyreek Hill fires back at Noah Lyles as their speed showdown gets real

The world’s fastest man is about to go head-to-head with the NFL’s speed king. After months of online jabs and speculation, Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill and Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles have officially agreed to race.

“This has been an ongoing thing for quite some time now, and I mean, everybody’s seen the back and forth on social media,” Hill, 30, told People. “I’ve been very adamant to show people what real, true speed looks like.”

Speed deception! Tyreek Hill can’t believe how Mahomes outruns defenses

    The rivalry heats up

The buzz surrounding this race intensified after Lyles, 27, held up a sign that read “Tyreek could never” following his victory in the 60m final at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on February 2.

“I think it speaks for itself,” Lyles told. “Everybody says they’re gonna be the world’s fastest, but when it comes down to it, you gotta be the winner every time. Every time I show up to the biggest moments, I win.”

Lyles, the reigning Olympic gold medalist in the 100-meter dash, has proven his dominance on the track. However, Hill is determined to prove that NFL athletes can keep up with the best sprinters in the world. “I feel like I’ve got to do this for the guys that play my sport,” Hill said. “We did run track at some point, and we can come and take over your sport at any moment if we really wanted to.”

    The trash talk begins

Despite never having met in person before their recent joint interview, Hill and Lyles have already started trading verbal blows. Hill, known for his playful nature, made it clear that nothing is off-limits-except for one thing. “As long as we ain’t putting people’s mamas in it, I don’t care,” he joked.

Lyles fired back when discussing the race distance, hinting that Hill wouldn’t stand a chance in a longer sprint. “If it was 100 meters, it’d be a blowout,” Lyles said. Hill quickly responded, “Hold on, hold on-blowout?! The only thing that looks like it’s blowing out is your hair, so you need to chill.”

    The showdown awaits

The highly anticipated race is set to take place sometime this spring or summer before Lyles competes in the U.S. Championships in July. While the location remains undecided, one thing is certain: when two of the world’s fastest athletes step onto the track, the world will be watching.

  • Antonio Brown mocks Tyreek Hill for asking to leave Chiefs: He's got CTE

Antonio Brown mocks Tyreek Hill for asking to leave Chiefs: He's got CTE

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown remains one of the most polarizing figures in NFL history. Known for his on-field brilliance and off-field unpredictability, Brown has constantly found ways to stay in the spotlight-even after his dramatic exit from the league.

Despite his Hall of Fame-worthy career, Brown‘s erratic behavior has led many to question whether chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a condition linked to repeated head trauma in football, has played a role in his actions.

Crazy and unreal! Terrell Owens states that the NFL is rigged in favor of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs

Brown himself has leaned into the conversation, launching “CTESPN,” a sports entertainment brand that combines CTE awareness, merchandise, and humor.

Brown ranks his “Top CTE guys” in the NFL

Appearing on the podcast One Night with Steiny, Brown was asked to name the NFL players he believes exhibit CTE-like behavior. In his usual unfiltered style, he named Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill as his top pick.

“No. 1 has gotta be Cheetah,” Brown said, referring to Hill‘s nickname. “Tyreek Hill could’ve won four Super Bowls, but he had 10 kids in Miami and made no playoffs. That’s gotta be trauma.”

Super Bowl LIX Special: Everything you need to know about Eagles vs Chiefs

    Related:

Brown then turned his focus to New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, ranking him No. 2.

“I think Aaron Rodgers got a little CTE. He’s a good player, but anytime you got trauma that’s outside the game, that’s just something you’re dealing with,” Brown explained.

He further elaborated that a quarterback’s mindset needs to be positive, implying that Rodgers may be affected by external stressors.

“I feel like you gotta play football with a good spirit, a happy energy, because you’re creating your reality… You gotta have blinders where you have happy energy that you want to put and see your goals.”

While Brown‘s comments keep him in the headlines, his football resume is undeniable. He is eligible for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027, and his numbers certainly support his case.

  • Miami Dolphins chosen for historic NFL game at the Bernabeu: 'See you in Madrid!'

Miami Dolphins chosen for historic NFL game at the Bernabeu: 'See you in Madrid!'

It was an open secret, but it is now official: the Dolphins will be the home team at the Santiago Bernabeu for the first NFL game in Spanish territory.

The Miami franchise was the heavy favorite to be chosen as it holds the rights (along with the Chicago Bears) to marketing in Spain and has finally confirmed its upcoming presence in Madrid for the 2025/2026 season.

NFL fans spot the moment Tyreek Hill quit on Dolphins against the Jets

The exact date is still unknown and it seems that we will have to wait until the Super Bowl to know all the details. However, it is not unreasonable to think that the match will be played during one of the FIFA international breaks. One of these three weekends should be noted: September 6-7, October 11-12 and November 15-16.

To find out the Dolphins’ opponent, we will also have to wait a few weeks, although what is certain is that it will be one of these nine teams: Bills, Patriots, Jets, Ravens, Bengals, Saints, Buccaneers, Chargers and Commanders. The NFL has already unveiled the opponents for each of its teams for next season and these will be the ones who will visit Miami (and Madrid in this case).

    What about the Dolphins’ opponent?

It could even be more precise about the second team in the clash at the Bernabeu. It would be quite strange for the NFL to decide to take a divisional game outside its borders, so the Bills, Patriots and Jets would be out of the equation.

Miami Dolphins chosen for historic NFL game at the Bernabeu: 'See you in Madrid!'

The Dolphins remain a competitive team despite missing the playoffs this season. Led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and with the future of their superstar Tyreek Hill up in the air, they could be back in the hunt if they get it right in the front office.

The Spanish capital is preparing for the arrival of something unprecedented that has already conquered other leading countries such as Germany, Great Britain, Mexico and Brazil. It is a show that aims to conquer the Spaniards and become another annual stop for the NFL.

  • Deebo Samuel shows up in unusual attire before the 49ers' game against the Dolphins and social media are all over him

Deebo Samuel shows up in unusual attire before the 49ers' game against the Dolphins and social media are all over him

Deebo Samuel, known for his fearless play on the field, also made headlines for his bold pregame fashion choices ahead of the San Francisco 49ers‘ matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

The 28-year-old wide receiver’s style took center stage when fans spotted his unconventional outfit as he arrived at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

The San Francisco 49ers might have found their next starting quarterback and his name is Tanner Mordecai

Samuel stepped into the spotlight in a vintage graphic tee tucked into Levi’s straight-leg jeans, accessorized with a black belt, matching leather loafers, and a stack of shiny jewelry.

    Related:

While the ensemble exuded confidence, it also drew some humorous reactions from fans, who couldn’t resist poking fun at his sartorial statement.

“The [expletive] been going on with Deebo lately,” one fan commented on social media.

Another added: “Deebo always got a lil sus fit.”

Deebo dressed goofy just to go home,” a third noted.

Despite the playful criticisms, Samuel‘s daring choices reflect a broader trend among NFL players using pregame appearances to showcase their personal style.

A season of fashion hits and misses

Samuel‘s Miami look wasn’t the first time his pregame fashion caught attention this season. In Week 10, during the 49ers’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Samuel arrived in a leather jacket paired with black shorts, an outfit that quickly went viral for its bold combination.

Pregame fashion in the NFL has become an integral part of the league’s culture, with players like Justin Jefferson and Aaron Jones often showcasing standout looks. Jefferson turned heads in a Gucci and North Face monogrammed puffer jacket, while Jones rocked his signature Mexican hat. Keion White also joined the conversation with a winter-ready outfit.

Samuel‘s off-field fashion choices highlight his playful personality, which resonates with fans even when his style choices are divisive.

While some may view his outfits as unconventional, Samuel‘s confidence and willingness to experiment with his look reflect the same boldness he displays on the field.

  • Ex-NFL star Jay Cutler gets engaged to Samantha Robertson

Ex-NFL star Jay Cutler gets engaged to Samantha Robertson

The ex-Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins‘ quarterback, Jay Cutler, is celebrating some good news as he gets engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Samantha Robertson.

The football star had dated Kristin Cavallari from 2010-2020 when they announced they were getting a divorce, which was finalized in 2022, but it seems as though he has firmly moved on as Robertson was spotted with an engagement ring at the premiere of Yellowstone.

The couple headed to the launch of the second part of season five on Thursday, November 7, where fans spotted the ring shimmering on her finger as she held a drink and posed for a photo in a black dress with her fiance, who wore a black shirt and grey dinner jacket.

Robertson and Cutler have been dating for at least a year and only went Instagram official in September 2023 when they were snapped watching a sunset in Montana, snuggling up with each other.

That came days after she posted a photo of herself and the ex-Bear taking a trip through France as they headed to a destination wedding.

When the pair tie the knot, they will bring together their two families under the eyes of the law. Cutler has three children from his marriage to Cavallari whilst Robertson has two from her own marriage to Trace Ayala.

How does Cavallari feel about it?

Cavallari was there for the football player throughout the peak of his career as he passed for 227 touchdowns and 35,133 yards from a 62% completion rate throughout the NFL, as well as going on to rush for 1675 yards and nine touchdowns.

They share three children, the eldest being 12, but sadly divorced in 2020 on the grounds that they had simply grown apart and struggled to even finalize their divorce due to a string of financial issues.

Yet Cavallari doesn’t seem to be pushing for a reconciliation and in 2022 told Call Her Daddy that she hopes that he “finds someone” and manages to become “happy”, wanting him to remarry.

  • Tyreek Hill compares former NFL colleague's girlfriend to pornstar

Tyreek Hill compares former NFL colleague's girlfriend to pornstar

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill bizarrely compared ex-Kansas City Chiefs player LeVeon Bell’s girlfriend to a popular pornstar after the pair posted some photos online as they headed out for a date.

Hill’s comment comes after Jasila Rey posted a series of snaps of herself and Bell to X.com, formerly Twitter, on November 11 as the pair ventured into the night as she wore a tight-fitting yellow dress as they posed in the elevator mirror.

The fit showed off all of her curves and didn’t leave too much to the imagination as far as her chest goes since she elected to go braless, leading to Hill, nicknamed Cheetah for his electrifying pace, to make the comparison.

He did so by replying to Bell’s quote tweet on Elon Musk’s social media platform by writing, “She look like teanna trump.”

Bell, who also played for the Baltimore Ravens but has been without a side since 2021, is yet to respond to the comment, and fans may be eagerly awaiting his clapback after laughing at the Dolphins’ player’s comment on X.com.

One user wrote, “That’s wild bro.”

Whilst a second added, “Can yall share sum damn yall selfish.”

A third commented, quite simply, a crying of laughter emoji endorsing Hill’s apparent joke at the expense of Rey.

Hill struggles in Week 10 win

Despite the return of Tua Tagovailoa to the quarterback role, Hill continues to struggle to reach the heights of the previous season despite the Dolphins claiming a 23-15 win over the Los Angeles Rams to improve to 3-6 for the year.

The man who thinks he can beat Noah Lyles in a footrace lacked the speed to make an impression at the So-Fi Stadium on November 11 and only made three receptions for 16 yards, although he did record a touchdown whilst stood in acres of space.

That brings his season average to just 462 yards from 37 receptions and two touchdowns as he continues to perform like a third-choice receiver instead of the main weapon in the Dolphins’ offense.

  • NFL week 5 kicks off with overtime thriller plus more drama and records in the early window games

NFL week 5 kicks off with overtime thriller plus more drama and records in the early window games

Week five of the NFL began with a bang on Thursday, as the Atlanta Falcons secured a dramatic overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the game, Kirk Cousins threw for an astounding 509 yards, making him the second player ever to surpass 500 yards in a primetime game, joining only Tom Brady. The action continued early this morning in London, where the undefeated Minnesota Vikings (5-0) edged out the New York Jets (2-3) with a 23-17 victory. The Jets’ ground game has been almost nonexistent after five weeks, something that their 40-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers desperately needs to complement his offense.

Rookies Shining Bright: Top Picks Proving Their Worth

In the first window of games, only two contests were decided by more than one score, both featuring the top two draft picks. First, Caleb Williams, the number one pick, led the Chicago Bears (3-2) to a commanding 36-10 win over the Carolina Panthers (1-4). Williams threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns, securing the Bears’ ninth consecutive home win, stretching back to last season.

In another dominant performance, the Washington Commanders (4-1) crushed the Cleveland Browns (1-4) 34-13. The Commanders made history, becoming the first team since the 1970 merger to score 150+ points in their first five games while starting a rookie QB. Jayden Daniels has been exceptional, leading Washington to 30+ points per game this season. Notably, Daniels is the first player in NFL history to amass 1,000+ passing yards and 250+ rushing yards in his first five career games. The race for Rookie of the Year is heating up, especially with Malik Nabers also in the mix.

Tight Contests Define NFL Week 5’s Early Window

Of the remaining four games played so far in Week 5, all were decided by a single possession. Three games ended with just a three-point margin, while one game had a five-point difference. The Miami Dolphins (2-3) narrowly defeated the New England Patriots (1-4) 15-10 in what was easily the dullest matchup of the early slate. Miami’s victory came at a cost, with Devon Achane suffering a concussion in the first quarter. The Dolphins nearly lost the game after rookie Ja’Lynn Polk’s touchdown was reversed upon review, as he was ruled out of bounds before scoring. It was also Odell Beckham Jr.‘s first game with the Dolphins who hope to return after the bye week they have coming up.

High-Scoring Divisional Games Provide Plenty of Offense

Contrary to expectations, two divisional games showcased offensive firepower rather than the usual defensive battles. The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) secured their first win of the season, defeating the Indianapolis Colts (2-3) 37-34. Despite Joe Flacco’s impressive 359 passing yards and three touchdowns, the Colts couldn’t pull off the win, missing key starters Anthony Richardson and Jonathan Taylor due to injuries. The Colts’ 10-year streak of road losses in Jacksonville continues, the longest active streak in the NFL.

In another thrilling divisional matchup, the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) outlasted the Cincinnati Bengals (1-4) 41-38 in overtime. Joe Burrow‘s five touchdowns and 392 passing yards, along with Ja’Marr Chase’s 193 receiving yards, weren’t enough to overcome Lamar Jackson’s 348 passing yards and four touchdowns. Jackson also recorded his sixth game with 4+ passing TDs and 50+ rushing yards, the most in NFL history since 1950. Additionally, Derrick Henry’s 100th career touchdown, scored on the game’s opening drive, played a pivotal role in the Ravens’ victory.

Diggs Dominates in Revenge Game Against Bills

In Stefon Diggs’ finished with 82 yards and 6 receptions in the highly anticipated revenge game against one of his former teams, the Houston Texans (4-1) edged out the Buffalo Bills (3-2) with a 23-20 victory. Unfortunately for the Texans, wide receiver Nico Collins left the game in the second quarter with an injury, though early reports suggest it’s not serious. Collins had already posted 78 yards and a touchdown before being ruled out. Houston’s defense held Josh Allen to just 131 passing yards, and the Texans secured the win with a last-second field goal. With this win, the Texans seem poised to dominate the AFC South once again. Now fans eagerly await the afternoon games and tonight’s Sunday Night Football showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) and the Dallas Cowboys (2-2).

  • Stephen A. Smith blasts Tyreek Hill's bold move as the NFL's biggest mistake

Stephen A. Smith blasts Tyreek Hill's bold move as the NFL's biggest mistake

Tyreek Hill’s impact on the field this season has been notably diminished, and the culprit seems to be more than just the Miami Dolphins‘ opponents. The star wide receiver, who has been a game-changing asset in the past, is finding himself limited, and it might be due to a decision made over a year ago.

Miami‘s quarterback situation has been rocky ever since Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during the Dolphins’ Week 2 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Considering his previous concussion history, the Dolphins have opted to be cautious with Tagovailoa’s return, which has opened the door for Skylar Thompson, Tim Boyle, and Snoop Huntley to step in. Unfortunately for Hill, the chemistry has just not been there. In two full games without Tagovailoa, Hill has only managed to secure seven catches for 63 yards, without a touchdown to his name-a massive drop in productivity for a player of his caliber. Unsurprisingly, Miami fell short in both contests.

John Middlekauff suggests a surprising change for the Dolphins involving Tyreek Hill

On “First Take” this Tuesday, Stephen A. Smith blasted Hill for his fateful choice to leave the Kansas City Chiefs following the 2021 season. Hill, who had enjoyed an explosive partnership with Patrick Mahomes and flourished in Andy Reid’s offensive scheme, decided to move on to Miami. According to Smith, this choice may end up being one of the worst on-field decisions a player has ever made.

“Who made a bigger mistake leaving their old team than Tyreek Hill?” Smith questioned. “This could go down as one of the greatest mistakes ever for an NFL player. He left Kansas City, where he was catching passes from Mahomes, to go to Miami. And now, without Tua, what does he have? Who’s throwing him the ball?”

Hill was helping create a dynasty in Kansas City

Indeed, Hill’s time in Kansas City wasn’t without its triumphs. He earned a Super Bowl ring and secured a highly lucrative contract extension with Miami-achievements many NFL players would dream of. But even with these accolades, Smith suggested that Hill might be regretting his decision, especially considering his controversial statement comparing Tagovailoa to Mahomes early in his Miami stint-a comparison that has since been proven premature.

Now, with Tagovailoa‘s future uncertain, Hill seems to be struggling in Miami, far removed from the high-powered offense he was a part of in Kansas City. Smith may have taken a bold stance by calling Hill’s move an “all-time error,” but given the current state of affairs, it’s hard not to wonder whether the star receiver himself wishes he could hit the reset button on his decision to leave.
