NFL star Tyreek Hill impresses Pierre Gasly with F1 reflex drill at Miami GP

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill impressed Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly on Friday at the 2023 Miami Grand Prix. The NFL star managed to perform admirably in a reflex drill for racers.

Hill, 29, has lighting-quick feet and some of the best hands in the league, but his reflexes are still subpar compared to Gasly, whose life depends on split-second decisions.

Gasly, 27, was still quite impressed by how Hill managed to catch the tennis balls every time, even though some of the takes were a bit on the rough side.

When the F1 racer atttempted the reflex drill, it was quite evident that he’s on a different level, catching the balls in a fraction of a second every single time.

Hill spent all day with the Alpine driver and was even on Gasly’s radio during Day 1 of the event, which consisted of two practice sessions.

“Good luck brother,” Hill told Gasly via radio. “Be fast like the cheetah, baby.”

“Copy champ, thanks,” replied the French star.

Gasly is known for being a huge fan of the NFL and has met Hill in the past. It’s clear they have forged a great relationship.

Hill wasn’t the only celebrity present for Day 1 of the Miami GP. DJ Khaled was also spotted in attendance and model Veronika Rajek shared her outfit for Friday’s session.

  • Jalen Ramsey leaves Los Angles Rams for Miami Dolphins

Jalen Ramsey leaves Los Angles Rams for Miami Dolphins

Jalen Ramsey, cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams, is on his way to the Miami Dolphins in a trade that was recently agreed upon by both teams.

According to various sources, the Dolphins will acquire Ramsey, while the Rams will receive Hunter Long, a tight end, and the Dolphins’ 2023 third-round pick, which is the 77th overall pick.

Although the deal has yet to be finalized, both teams have agreed to it and are awaiting the new league year, which begins on Wednesday. Ramsey is still performing at a high level, but his enormous salary cap hit and the Rams’ unstable cap situation made them eager to trade him.

LA Rams trade Jalen Ramsay to save $5.6 Million in cap space

Ramsey is set to make a $17 million base salary in 2023, and the trade will save the Rams $5.6 million in cap space this year.

Long, on the other hand, was a 2021 third-round pick who has seen limited action in his first two NFL seasons. This trade signifies a significant move for the Dolphins, demonstrating that they are serious about contending this season.

Meanwhile, the Rams are reminded that their Super Bowl-winning roster of 2021 will look vastly different from the team they will field in 2023.

Fans of both teams are eagerly anticipating the official announcement of the trade, which is expected to happen in the coming days. Ramsey will bring a wealth of experience and skill to the Dolphins‘ secondary, which is already considered one of the best in the league.

As for the Rams, they will undoubtedly use their newfound cap space to bolster their roster and remain competitive in the upcoming season.

  • Daniel Jones got called 'trash' by an NFL player after he signed a contract before Lamar Jackson

Daniel Jones got called 'trash' by an NFL player after he signed a contract before Lamar Jackson

Daniel Jones managed to secure a four year deal with the Giants paying him an average value of $40 million dollars per season, something that seems normal for a quarterback to get, but since Lamar Jackson is getting franchised tagged by the Ravens, that would mean he would earn $32.1 million, something that seems way below what his market value should actually be.

But despite that, five teams were quick to made public their lack of intention to seek a trade for Lamar Jackson, just hours after the Ravens slapped him with the non-exclusive franchise tag, meaning teams could offer him a contract that he likes and just pay two first round draft picks to Baltimore in exchange.

This led many to believe that this was a sign of teams and NFL owners more specifically colluding to avoid giving Lamar Jackson what he was asking from the Ravens, which is a guaranteed contract just like Deshaun Watson got from the Browns, with Baltimore”s owner, Steve Bisciotti, having being very vocal against it in the past.

Bears player called Daniel Jones ‘trash’, Darius Slayton defends him

Jaquan Brisker, a member of the Chicago Bears defense, tweeted that Daniel Jones got paid before Lamar Jackson despite the fact that he’s “trash.”

Darius Slayton, wide receiver for the New York Giants and Jones’ teammate came out in his defense and without any words attached to it, just tweeted a screenshot of this season’s regular season game scoreboard in which they defeated them.
