    Actor Armie Hammer’s Hollywood career came to a complete halt when allegations of an alleged 2017 sexual assault surfaced. The LAPD began investigating the actor in February of 2021, but the investigation has proven unfruitful.

    Fueled by outrage stemming from the explosive House of Hammer docuseries (2022), the Call Me By Your Name actor was blacklisted in the entertainment industry and seeked refuge in the Caribbean. Despite his acting career taking a hit, Hammer will not face legal consequences.

    The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office informed it has dropped charges against Armie Hammer due to “insufficient evidence”. Despite what they claim to be an “extremely thorough review”. After briefly working at a Caribeean resort, he is now believed to be back in the United States since early 2023.

    A statement released by the LA D.A.’s office explained the following: “Sexual assault cases are often difficult to prove, which is why we assign our most experienced prosecutors to review them.     The buzz around Hammer’s alleged abusive behavior began when an Instagram account called ‘House of Effie’ began accusing Hammer anonymously. The allegations began to snowball, with other women coming forward. The woman, identified as Effie, spoke to CNN on Wednesday and shared her dismay at the actor not facing criminal charges: “I felt a duty to speak out and file a report in order to try to hold Armie accountable for all the harm and trauma he has caused me and in order to protect other women from experiencing similar abuse.”

    Armie Hammer has since admitted to being “emotionally abusive” towards his exes, but assures he never engaged in criminal behavior. Hammer recently spoke out for the first time since the allegations, claiming he was molested as a child.

    Academy Award winning actressSusan Sarandon has been arrested in upstate New York while protesting for the rights and increased wages for waiters and restaurant workers in the city.

    The Hollywood legend, who is known for her activism and support of progressive and left-wing political and social causes, was present at the rally at the New York State Capitol in Albany to join forces with the group One Fair Wages. According to its website, ‘OFW’ ‘aims to end all subminimum wages in the United States and increase the sustainability of wages and working conditions in the service sector’.

    “I myself am a mother. I have been a single mother. I have worked in a restaurant for tips. “I know how difficult it is and I know how important it is,” said Sarandon during the protest, where she was also accompanied by the former candidate for lieutenant governor, Ana Maria Archila. She could be seen holding a sign over the course of the day.

    The wage for restaurant workers (including tips) in New York is 66% of the minimum wage in the US, ranging from just $8.35 to $10.40 an hour.

    Police arrested eight people in total for ‘disorderly conduct’. In the video of the incident which has surfaced on social media, Sarandon can be seen being escorted away in handcuffs. She says nothing and looks calm as she was arrested by the officer.

    When talking about Katherine Schwarzenegger he said “We met each other at church. It was very sweet, but he didn’t try and pick me up in church,”

    Baby Yoda, the adorable and beloved character from Disney+’s hit series “The Mandalorian,” has taken over Google Search in a playful Easter egg that has left fans delighted.

    The tiny creature, also known as Grogu, can be found in the lower right-hand corner of the screen when you search for “Grogu” or “Baby Yoda” on Google. Once you click or tap on him, he unleashes his powers of The Force and knocks out the top section of the search results. If you keep clicking on him, he continues to wreak havoc on the page.

    Grogu, who stars alongside Pedro Pascal in “The Mandalorian,” recently finished its third season on Disney+. The character has amassed a huge following and has become a cultural phenomenon since he was first introduced as “The Child.”

    The Grogu search Easter egg was not sponsored, according to a Google rep, but the company worked with Disney to ensure accuracy. The Easter egg is available on both mobile and desktop versions of Google Search.

    “Grogu is such a playful character and has amassed a huge following,” said Lucas Bullen, Google’s lead engineer on the project. “We wanted to recognize that and let fans interact with Grogu while he is practicing his Force skills on the Search page. We always enjoy adding these sorts of experiences for fans to stumble upon while using Google Search and as a Star Wars fan myself, working on this Easter Egg was a real treat.”

    Lucasfilm’s official description of the character describes him as a “mysterious child pursued by bounty hunters on behalf of Imperial interests, the foundling Grogu found protection with the Mandalorian Din Djarin. Through their adventures and journeys through the galaxy, young Grogu is honing remarkable abilities. Although he previously trained as a Jedi, Grogu has chosen to return to Din’s side and continues to share his adventures as they take a stand against the Imperial remnant.”

    Fans of Baby Yoda can enjoy this fun Easter egg on Google Search and continue to follow his adventures in “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett.”

    Similarly to Butler’s performance as Elvis Presley, Bassett earned an Oscar nomination for her role. Although Bassett did not win the award that year, she had a deep appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes into portraying an iconic figure.

    When Russell Crowe thinks of his groundbreaking role in Gladiator (2000), he sees it as what made his career. That’s why the Australian actor can only be “slightly jealous” upon knowing that there’s an upcoming sequel (set for 2024) in which he’s not involved in any way.

    Crowe, who played Maximus in the original movie, spoke to Collider about his feelings regarding the future movie directed by Ridley Scott, and a cast featuring names like Denzel Washington, Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan.

    “The only thing that I really feel about it is slightly jealous, you know?”, Crowe told the publication. “Because I was a much younger man, obviously, and it was a huge experience in my life. It’s something that changed my life, really. It changed the way people regarded me and what I do for a living.”

    Though Russell Crowe received Academy Award nominations for his roles in The Insider (2000) and A Beautiful Mind (2002), he won a golden statuette for his role as Maximus. But, for Crowe, it’s the evergreen nature of the movie that makes it so special: “The legs on that film are incredible. Here it is, it’s 2023, and we made that film in 1999. I guarantee you, somewhere around the world tonight, Gladiator is going to be showing on primetime TV.”

    Gladiator 2 will take place 20 years after the original movie

    Gladiator 2 will reflect the natural passage of time, in that it is based in a time two decades after the original story.

    On RT Radio One’s The Ryan Tubridy Show, Crowe revealed that Ridley Scott and the sequel team approached him some time ago, but not “for a while”. He also gave some insight into what the story of the sequel will consist of: “I hear that young fella Paul (Mescal) is a good dude and I wish him the best of luck with it. I think where they’re picking the story up from, a young Lucius, stepping into the role of emperor. I think that’s a very smart idea within the world of the film that we created.”

The general consensus is overwhelmingly positive and it’s even aiming to become one of next year’s favorites during award season. Both actors star in the film as the duo that founded NIKE nd got to land Michael Jordan’s contract that ultimately turned them into the behemoth sportswear brand they are today.

    One of the critics is even calling for Matt Damon’s imminent Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of Sonny Vaccaro, who was the one who landed the contract. Affleck plays NIKE founder Phil Knight and both of them wrote the script. Other movie stars who appears on the film are Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Marlon Wayans, Jason Bateman, and Jessica Green. The last time Damon and Affleck starred together in a movie was back in the late ’90s when they won the Academy Award for best Original Script in ‘Good Will Hunting‘. For that film, the late great Robin Williams also won the Academy Award for Acting in a Supporting Role.

    Is ‘AIR’ approved by Michael Jordan?

    In case you were wondering, this movie is definitely approved by Michael Jordan but his character apparently doesn’t have a prominent role in the story. This film actually focuses more on the NIKE founders and the story of how the company’s success was originated from the legendary NBA star. Don’t get us wrong, Michael Jordan definitely appears in the movie but he doesn’t seem to have much weightin the story. ‘AIR’ premieres on April 5 and every single NBA fan is eagerly waiting for its premiere.     The actor suffered a massive snowplow accident at his home in Nevada and quickly, after a distress call, was taken to the emergency room and was in a critical, but stable, state.

    He had been trying to save his nephew, but almost died in the process.

    His diagnosis was of “closed chest trauma and orthopedic injuries”.

    The 52-year-old actor was buried by a 6,500-kilogram machine that caused him to break more than 30 bones.

    Now, almost three months after the accident that nearly cost him his life, Jeremy Renner is recovering in record time.

    In fact, a few days ago the actor posted on his social media a video of his therapy which is helping him walk normally again by using a gravity machine.

    “Now I have to find other things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will,” Renner wrote on Twitter.

    The outlet TMZ, on Wednesday, March 29, published a preview of an exclusive interview with Jeremy Renner, almost three months after the accident.

    It is an emotional conversation with journalist Diane Sawyer where he reveals everything about the accident.

    “I chose to survive. That’s not gonna kill me, no way,” Renner told Sawyer.

    “I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I’ve been refueled and refilled with love and titanium.”

    His nephew thought Jeremy Renner had died

    According to the actor, he would go through it all again if he had to in order to save a family member.

    In the interview, Jeremy Renner confesses that he saw the snowplow coming directly to his nephew and he acted.

    His nephew is also interviewed by TMZ and he admitted he thought his uncle was dead when he saw the pool of blood around his head.

    In an interview with Deadline, Affleck revealed that Lopez was very involved in the development of “Air”, saying: “I started writing with Matt, and Jen also gave me some great lines. She knows a lot about how fashion evolves through culture. She helped me explain that part of the reason why Jordan sneakers were so significant is that in the United States, culture and style are 90% driven by black culture.”

    Affleck continued: “Historically, black culture has pioneered music, dance, fashion, and then it has been stolen, appropriated, commercialized like Elvis or whatever. In this case, Nike, a corporation run by white people, began doing business with African American athletes to draw from their identity. They were really drawing value from what Michael Jordan represents and who he is.” It seems that Air will touch on these issues.

    Jenny and Ben are collaborating together for the first time in decades

    As for “Unstoppable”, it marks a significant moment for Affleck and Lopez, who haven’t worked together at this level since their 2003 film, Gigli. While the couple’s first collaboration was not well-received by critics, it was still a beneficial experience for them.     “Unstoppable” is directed by William Goldenberg, another partner of Affleck’s, who makes his directorial debut after editing several of Affleck’s films, including Argo and Live by Night. There is no official release date for Unstoppable yet, but fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.
