  • Travis Hunter alongside Malik Nabers with the Giants? The Heisman Trophy would land in the Big Apple

Travis Hunter alongside Malik Nabers with the Giants? The Heisman Trophy would land in the Big Apple

The need to find a quarterback for the New York Giants is evident, and they could find one in the Draft. However, the road seems very long for the team led by Brian Daboll, despite having the third overall pick.

The two most talented quarterbacks on paper are Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders. Both players have been linked to the team, and fans are dreaming of one of them, but the Tennessee Titans, along with the Cleveland Browns, are clear favorites with the first two picks to draft both players.

It ended! Shedeur Sanders tells the NFL that the football relationship he had with his dad is over

Jordan Raanan, a Giants insider, indicated that the team’s plan to make a trade for the first pick “appears dead,” perhaps due to the high cost of making that move. So, with the third pick, New York could forget about drafting a quarterback and select, for many, the best prospect, the versatile and Heisman winner, Travis Hunter.

Travis Hunter would be a perfect fit for the New York Giants

Pro Football Focus analysts Jordan Plocher and Josh Liskiewitz have placed Travis Hunter with the Giants, highlighting his exceptional skills and versatility.

The Giants could be excited about Hunter for everything he could bring to the team. Offensively, as a receiver, he would form a perfect duo with Malik Nabers, who stood out for New York last season.

Hunter’s offensive numbers in his final year with the Colorado Buffaloes were impressive: 1,258 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had an amazing chemistry with Shedeur Sanders.

Last season, the Giants allowed 23 passing touchdowns and only accumulated 5 interceptions, so Hunter, as a cornerback, would also help immediately with Brian Daboll’s team. Travis recorded 4 interceptions and 11 passes defended last year.

Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy in 2024, highlighting his versatility and outstanding performance in both aspects of the game, so Giants fans could be excited about this player.

Stanford coach Troy Taylor accused of bullying, belittling female staffers

Stanford football coach Troy Taylor mistreated female staff members and tried to have an NCAA compliance officer removed after she warned him of rules violations, according to documents obtained by ESPN from investigations into Taylor’s conduct.

ESPN said more than 20 current and former staffers cooperated with the two investigations that included complaints against Taylor for what are described as hostile and aggressive behavior, as well as personal attacks.

Marshawn Lynch defends his territory in the College GameDay show

Both investigations determined that Taylor’s treatment of employees, particularly of women, was inconsistent with Stanford’s standards, according to ESPN.

The second investigation concluded that Taylor retaliated against a compliance staffer who had found seven minor NCAA infractions by “seeking her removal from her assigned duties.”

The report said investigators had never encountered “this palpable level of animosity and disdain” for a university compliance office, according to ESPN.

Taylor signed a warning letter on Feb. 14, 2024, following the first investigation acknowledging he could be fired if the conduct continued, according to the documents obtained by ESPN. Additional complaints were documented in a second investigation that ended July 24, but Taylor remains on the job.

“I willingly complied with the investigations, accepted the recommendations that came out of them, and used them as a learning opportunity to grow in leadership and how I interact with others,” Taylor said in a statement released by the school. “I look forward to continuing to work collaboratively and collegially with my colleagues so that we can achieve success for our football program together.”

A statement from a university spokesperson said, “Stanford believes in upholding the highest standards of behavior in the workplace.”

“The University received complaints regarding Coach Taylor and a third party investigated the matter thoroughly. Last summer, the University took appropriate measures, Coach Taylor received coaching, and he has committed to nurturing the respectful working environment that is essential to the success of all our athletics programs.”

Taylor is entering his third year as Stanford coach after back-to-back 3-9 seasons.

  • Chiefs could find a Jerick McKinnon type of player in 2025 NFL Draft to help Patrick Mahomes

Chiefs could find a Jerick McKinnon type of player in 2025 NFL Draft to help Patrick Mahomes

The Kansas City Chiefs came into this offseason with some holes to fill. Although their Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was brutal for the team, it at least helped the front office identify clear areas of need. Chief among those needs is the offensive line, as well as wide receiver. But there might be another position on offense that the team seemed to be missing throughout the 2024 season.

The team’s running backs struggled to make a big impact in many games. Isiah Pacheco suffered a major injury, but him and Kareem Hunt only averaged 3.67 yards per carry combined. But going beyond just their performance on the ground, the team seemed to be lacking explosion in the passing game from that position. Samaje Perine did a serviceable job as the team’s passing down back, but he couldn’t replicate the success Jerick McKinnon had with the team in 2022 and 2023.

Patrick Mahomes shows off elite training routine right after NFL season ends

Could Chiefs be interested in TreVeyon Henderson to make backfield more explosive?

McKinnon was one of the best passing down backs in the league, both as a pass-catcher and pass-protector. He caught 13 touchdowns in his last two seasons with the team and kept Patrick Mahomes upright. The team could use a player like him, and there’s a specific player in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft that could intrigue the front office: Trevyon Henderson.

Taken from a Reddit conversation among analysts who have watched his film, Henderson is set to have a big role early in his career because of his passing down ability.

While he has not done it consistently, Henderson has also put together at least one high-level season as a pass catching RB, suggesting high upside in that capacity… The real X Factor is how well he pass protects; teams will trust him to protect the QB, which is unbelievably valuable.

This could be of particular interest to the Chiefs, who could use an electric pass-catcher out of the backfield. Henderson also had two, nearly three, 1,000 yard rushing seasons and scored double digit rushing touchdowns in three of four seasons at Ohio State. He can do it all, which could make Mahomes very happy.

  • Steelers QB future? Mike Tomlin's secret plan revealed over dinner

Steelers QB future? Mike Tomlin's secret plan revealed over dinner

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their search for quarterback talent, as evidenced by a key meeting with former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe on Tuesday night. Head coach Mike Tomlin, general manager Omar Khan, and quarterbacks coach Tom Arth were in Tuscaloosa to have dinner with Milroe ahead of his pro day workout, according to sources.

Milroe, known for his athleticism and dual-threat abilities, caught the attention of scouts during his collegiate career. While he remains a raw prospect with room for development, his physical tools and potential have placed him on the radar of NFL teams.

Ben Roethlisberger posible unretiring video goes viral with Steelers fans

Pittsburgh, holding the No. 21 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, appears to be evaluating all options at the quarterback position as they look to build a sustainable future at the position. As of today, they are looking to add a quarterback for the present and the future.

The stats do not lie for him to be considered

This meeting highlights the Steelers’ methodical approach to scouting potential quarterbacks in the draft. Milroe’s pro day performance will likely play a significant role in determining how teams, including Pittsburgh, view his readiness for the NFL.

The Steelers have shown a history of identifying and developing quarterback talent, and Milroe’s blend of skills could make him an intriguing option for the team moving forward. Over four seasons, Milroe demonstrated consistent growth, completing 64.3% of his passes for a total of 6,016 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions. His rushing skills were equally impressive, amassing 1,577 yards on 375 carries and scoring 33 touchdowns on the ground.

Notably, his productivity peaked in his junior and senior years, where he combined for over 5,600 total yards and 49 touchdowns across both seasons. As draft day approaches, Pittsburgh’s interest in Milroe adds to the growing intrigue surrounding their strategy for securing a long-term solution at quarterback. Whether Milroe fits into those plans remains to be seen, but the dinner meeting signifies a serious evaluation of his potential by the Steelers’ leadership.

  • Cam Newton reacts to Bill Belichick's viral dap moment, offers tips to impress his new players

Cam Newton reacts to Bill Belichick's viral dap moment, offers tips to impress his new players

Bill Belichick is entering a new chapter in his storied coaching career, trading the rigid structure of the NFL for the dynamic world of college football.

The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach has taken on a new role with the North Carolina Tar Heels, and with it comes a different approach to connecting with young recruits.

A hard time! Bill Belichick struggles to walk straight and worries North Carolina Tar Heels fans

Why Bill Belichick’s handshake game needs work

One recent attempt at blending in, however, didn’t go unnoticed-especially by former New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton.

During a UNC basketball game at the Smith Center, Belichick was caught on camera dapping up recruits in an attempt to engage with the next generation of players.

While his effort was appreciated, the execution left much to be desired.

Newton, never one to hold back, broke down Belichick’s technique and delivered a lighthearted but thorough critique.

Reacting to the viral video, Newton didn’t sugarcoat his assessment.

“Okay. Oh, yeah. That’s bad,” he said, clearly amused by the exchange.

Analyzing Belichick’s movements, he explained, “The old slap and tap and push. The slap, tap, yeah, he tried to go in but was very aggressive. A little shake at the end to confirm.”

Daps, a widely recognized form of greeting and unity, require a certain rhythm and mutual energy.

According to Newton, Belichick’s approach was stiff and overbearing, failing to match the flow of the interaction.

Offering advice to his former coach, Newton humorously introduced what he called “Daponomics 101,” laying out the fundamentals of a proper dap.

“Bill, I love you. I really do,” Newton said while lighting a cigar.

“This goes out to all of my white constituents that are out there. Because when y’all get into a setting where there are some soul brothers and we go in for an expected dap… When all else fails, you have to keep your palm straight and it has to match the intensity of the giver.”

Belichick’s attempt at adapting to the college recruiting scene may have missed the mark, but the clip highlighted his willingness to step outside his comfort zone.

Fans had mixed reactions, with some enjoying this new, relaxed side of the legendary coach and others amused by his awkward adjustment.

Newton, who has long defended Belichick against critics, made it clear that his critique was all in good fun.

  • Colorado's next QB1? How Julian Lewis is already making people forget about Shedeur Sanders on practice

Colorado's next QB1? How Julian Lewis is already making people forget about Shedeur Sanders on practice

Julian Lewis’ potential was never in doubt, but a recent clip from Colorado’s spring practice sent his hype to another level. The footage shows him launching a deep ball with pinpoint accuracy, leaving fans buzzing about what’s to come.

Social media was quick to react. Some fans believe he could reach Shedeur Sanders’ level within three years. Others praised his natural passing ability, already envisioning him lighting up defenses in the Big 12.

Trayvis Hunter destined to be a great wide receiver just like his brother, Travis Hunter

Of course, not everyone is fully convinced yet. Some pointed out that Lewis’ frame-6’0.5″ and 185 pounds-is smaller than Sanders, who took a beating behind Colorado’s inconsistent offensive line last season. Without a pass rush in practice, skeptics say, it’s hard to know how he’ll handle real pressure.

Coach Prime has a new star in the making

Coach Deion Sanders, never shy about praising his players, is already showing confidence in his young QB.

JuJu’s got something special,Sanders said in a recent interview. “He’s got that mindset, that drive. He’s young, but he’s ready to work.”

While Lewis is undoubtedly a name to watch, it’s still too early to hand him the starting job. He’ll need to prove himself in full-contact drills and fall camp before Colorado fans can start making real comparisons to Sanders.

But one thing’s clear-Julian Lewis is already making waves in Boulder, and the hype isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

  • Travis Hunter's younger brother, Trayvis, shows off family talent and swagger as colleges line up

Travis Hunter's younger brother, Trayvis, shows off family talent and swagger as colleges line up

The term “generational talent” gets thrown out a lot, but for Travis Hunter, it may very well be warranted. Equally gifted as both a wide receiver and cornerback, Hunter took college football by storm due to his elite play on both sides of the ball. Ultimately, it led to a Heisman Trophy in his last season at Colorado.

In the aftermath of Hunter revolutionizing the sport, colleges have their eyes on players who could potentially play both sides of the ball. Even Colorado itself believes they have one or two on their roster that can do it. But maybe teams don’t have to look too far from the apple tree, as Hunter’s younger brother, Trayvis Hunter, is already showing off his skills in high school and at football events.

Which schools have extended an offer to Trayvis Hunter?

The younger Hunter has already received offers from Tennessee State, Georgia State and Jackson State. The latter, of course, is where Travis began his collegiate career. Trayvis is still very young at just 15 years old, so the fact that he’s getting offers already speaks for itself.

Hunter plays wide receiver for Effingham County High School in Springfield, Georgia. He stands 5-foot-7 and weighs 140 pounds, but he has the genetics to grow into his frame, just as Travis did. Trayvis will certainly be a name to watch over the next few years, especially if he decides to play both sides of the ball like his brother.

  • Saquon Barkley will have new company, and the Philadelphia Eagles' running attack promises to challenge the entire NFL

Saquon Barkley will have new company, and the Philadelphia Eagles' running attack promises to challenge the entire NFL

Saquon Barkley’s arrival in Philadelphia Eagles was simply spectacular. The Penn State product totaled 2,005 rushing yards and added 15 touchdowns, earning the Offensive Player of the Year award last season.

Barkley caught the attention of fans and NFL experts for his crucial role in a year where the Eagles ended up winning Super Bowl LIX against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nothing but brick! Super Bowl champion Saquon Barkley is a terrible basketball player and it shows

The 28-year-old Eagle was close to breaking the record for most rushing yards in a season. Barkley fell 92 yards short of breaking the historic 2,097-yard record held by Eric Dickerson, set in 1984. It’s important to note that Saquon didn’t play the last game of the season by decision of Head Coach Nick Sirianni, to get him ready for the playoffs; this decision prevented him from breaking the record.

The new addition to the Eagles’ offense

The Eagles’ management signed running back AJ Dillon for one year to work alongside Saquon next season. Dillon didn’t play last year due to a neck injury, but he has a lot of experience and could be important for Philadelphia’s offense.

Among the qualities of the former Green Bay Packers running back is his great physicality at 6 feet and 247 pounds, which will undoubtedly add power to the current Super Bowl champions’ attack.

Dillon was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2020 draft with the 62nd overall pick, and during his time with Green Bay, he accumulated 2,428 yards and 16 touchdowns in 60 games.

The Eagles averaged 179.3 rushing yards per game, ranking second in the NFL, thanks to a fantastic season from Saquon Barkley, which helped Philadelphia ultimately secure the Vince Lombardi trophy.

  • Deion Sanders' plan with Shedeur could soon end in 'tragedy'

Deion Sanders' plan with Shedeur could soon end in 'tragedy'

Shedeur Sanders is still waiting to find out which NFL team he will be representing once the draft has taken place in April, but general opinions of him seem to be declining rapidly.

Sanders opted to skip the gauntlet at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis and many were not impressed with that, and the following interviews with some top NFL teams did not go very well by all accounts.

Talk about confidence! Shedeur Sanders tells which is the most legendary moment of his young career

Various mock drafts have seen Sanders‘ position slide, with ESPN thinking that he could go past the Las Vegas Raiders and land with the New York Jets at seventh overall.

Could it be Deion Sanders’ fault?

NFL analyst Todd McShay believes that Shedeur’s father, Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders, could be to blame for how Shedeur is being viewed by those with power in the NFL world.

Speaking on The Ryen Russillo Pocast, McShay said: “98-99% of the people who come in this room, the players, they’re like, ‘Yes sir,’ like intense. This is the biggest job interview of their lives. When one guy comes in, and it’s really different than all the other ones, nothing about it was contentious. Nothing about it was disrespectful.

“It was just there was a different level of professionalism. Don’t get the sense that he cared an awful lot about what we thought. And to be quite honest with you, I don’t think anyone’s surprised. This is the narrative we’ve been talking about since, like, September. Remember, Coach Prime has been out there since, like early season,” he added.

Speaking in January on the Tamron Hall Show, Deion spoke firmly on the situation surrounding Shedeur and his development.

“This is my profession. I know what’s behind the curtain. We ain’t got to get back there for me to understand what’s behind the curtain and what’s not prominent for my son. I’m not doing it,” Coach Prime said on the show.

  • Travis Hunter is ramping up his training determined to become the NFL's next special gem

Travis Hunter is ramping up his training determined to become the NFL's next special gem

Travis Hunter is built different. A projected top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, he’s proven to be a rare two-way talent, dominating as both a lockdown cornerback and a dynamic wide receiver. It’s not every day you see a player excel on both sides of the ball at an elite level, but apparently Hunter isn’t just any player.

Knowing the stakes, Hunter has cranked up his training, determined to shine as the ultimate gem in next year’s draft. He’s not just going through the motions, he’s pushing himself harder, sharpening every skill to solidify his place as a top-tier prospect.

    No Days Off

A new video shows Hunter engaged in intense offseason workouts, demonstrating refined footwork, increased explosiveness, and a focused training approach as he prepares for the next level.

Of course, his performance last season already spoke volumes. Hunter hauled in 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 13.1 yards per catch. But he’s not showing sings of being satisfied, his training shows no signs of slowing down, and he’s got one goal in mind: greatness.

    A Cut Above the Rest

Many experts have already labeled Hunter as one of the most well-conditioned athletes in football, period. Even if he only trained once a week (which he never would), no NFL scout would ever question his stamina, endurance, or commitment to the grind.

Travis Hunter continues to train intensively, aiming to be in top form for the draft. His preparation reflects a commitment to refining his skills and maximizing his potential at the next level.
