    Former Denver Broncos RB and Super Bowl 50 champion is fighting for his life in a hospice

    Ronnie Hillman, who was chosen in 2012 by the Denver Broncos as running back, is fighting for his life in a hospice, after suffering from a rare form of cancer. This was made known by one of his former Broncos teammates, Orlando Franklin, who asked the team’s fans for their prayers for the former RB.

    Hillman is just 31 years old

    “He’s in hospice and not doing well,” Franklin said, while another of his former teammates, Derek Wolfe, conformed that Ronnie is battling “bad liver cancer.”

    “It’s not looking good,” Wolfe said on 104.3 The Fan on Tuesday. “He has pneumonia and I’m putting him in there just to send positive vibes his way.”

    Hillman played for Denver from 2012 to 2015, and was part of the team that won Super Bowl 50, along with Peyton Manning. Wolfe remembered him as a “great soccer player, great person, great teammate” and “an overall great guy.”

    Hillman is a graduate of San Diego State, and during his time in the NFL he played for teams such as the Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys.

    The cancer he suffers from is rare and very aggressive

    So far, Hillman’s family issued a statement reporting that Ronnie was diagnosed with renal medullary medullary carcinoma, a “rare but very aggressive form of cancer neoplasm that primarily affects young African-American men with sickle cell trait” last August.

    “As a family, we hope beyond hope, and we have a faith that can move mountains. We also understand that God’s will is not always ours; therefore, as a family we submit to the will of our Almighty God.”

    “We need your prayers, but we also need your understanding and respect for Ronnie and our family’s privacy at this time,” the statement said.

    Jeremiah Johnson is a 12-year-old football player who shockedNFL Twitter when he won the 12-under MVP award at the Youth National Championships in Miami earlier this week.

    When his picture posing with the MVP trophy surfaced on social media, NFL Twitter couldn’t believe the size of the preteen, who already has a mustache and a half-sleeve of tattoos.

    Another video popped up shortly after of Johnson confirming his age to an older gentleman, who is also in disbelief of the 12-year-old’s physique.

    “If they don’t go to the NFL, it’s racism,” the man says.

    Johnson laughs it off before the man tells him that he’s ready to play in the league.

    Despite the countless memes generated after the initial shock of seeing Johnson, the 12-year-old is likely going to stay on the radar of NFL teams.

    Johnson obviously has a long way to go before being eligible to get drafted, but if he continues winning MVP trophies, it’s almost a given that he’ll end up in the league.

    Johnson is a running back who will only continue to grow and possibly change his position into a linebacker by the time he’s an adult.

    While it’s not a sure thing that Johnson will end up in the NFL, it is a near certainty that he’ll be terrorizing his much smaller opponents for years to come.

The former managed 175 yards and one interception. The latter at least threw a touchdown. Dameon Pierce ran for 78 yards and scored a TD. The highlight was Tremon Smith who left the game with two interceptions in his account.

    Detroit Lions with the illusion of making the playoffs

    The Detroit Lions hosted their NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 14, and got their sixth win of the season. QB Jared Goff had an excellent game and caught 27/39 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns. WR DJ Chark was Goff’s most productive target and finished the game with six receptions on seven targets, 94 yards and a touchdown.

    On the Vikings’ side, Kirk Cousins recorded 30/40 passing yards for 405 yards and two touchdowns. Justin Jefferson, meanwhile, had the longest game of his career. He had 213 yards on ten receptions.

    With the victory, the Lions go to 6-7 and strengthen their fight for a playoff spot. The team faces the New York Jets next Sunday (18). The Vikings, despite the setback, remain first in the NFC North with 10-3. In Week 15, Minnesota receives the Indianapolis Colts.

    Cincinnati Benglas continue in the fight for the division

    Paul Brown Stadium hosted the divisional match-up between the Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) and the Cleveland Browns (5-8). The home team was able to dominate from the second quarter on to come away with the 23-10 victory.

    Joe Burrow finished the day with 18/33, 239 yards, 2 TDs, INT. Deshaun Watson, in his second game as a starter, completed 26/42, 276 yards, TD, INT. Worth highlighting is Ja’Marr Chase, who completed the duel with 10 rec for 119 yards and TD.
