Josh Allen dreams of the Super Bowl, but the Buffalo Bills have a big problem that could prevent it

Since Josh Allen arrived in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills have reignited their hopes of achieving the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl victory. The work has been brilliant, but the endings have been tragic for the Bills and especially for their fans.

Josh Allen had some words for Dak Prescott after signing huge contract extension

Since 2019, Buffalo has consistently made the playoffs, competing on the biggest stages. In some games, they’ve even been favorites on paper, but whether it’s because of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs or other teams, the Bills have always fallen just short of reaching the NFL’s biggest game.

Last season, in a dramatic ending, Josh Allen and the Bills once again lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs. However, the quarterback continues to dream of one day reaching the Super Bowl. Still, the team now faces a major challenge in assembling their roster for the upcoming season.

The Bills face a major salary cap issue

During this offseason, the Bills’ general manager initially raised concerns among fans by being very transparent about the team’s tight salary cap situation.

“We’re very tight, knowing that we have to set aside money for draft picks,” Beane said.

Currently, the Bills have $2,276,742 in available cap space after accounting for their top 51 salaries and the money needed to sign rookies, according to Over The Cap (OTC). These figures place Buffalo 30th among NFL teams in terms of cap space.

This will undoubtedly have consequences for the Bills, who will need to free up more money if they want to sign additional free agents. The team has already started making moves, such as releasing Von Miller and San Martin, trading Kaiir Elam to the Dallas Cowboys, and restructuring Matt Milano’s contract.

With the NFL’s salary cap set at $279.2 million for 2025, the Bills will need to make smart financial decisions to remain competitive and continue fighting for a chance to reach the Super Bowl.

  • Patrick Mahomes and Brittany take a 'break' and take separate chances for some downtime

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany take a 'break' and take separate chances for some downtime

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes are spending some rare time apart from one another during the off-season.

Brittany recently shared an Instagram Story captioned ‘the good’ in which she seemed to be stacking extra supplies of breast milk in the fridge for whoever will be looking after Golden Raye, the baby who was born in January this year.

Her friend Cassidy Kay has been getting married and Brittany was firmly involved with the wedding, as shown by various interactions she has been having on social media recently.

Whilst Brittany was off in Mexico celebrating her friend’s wedding, Patrick reconnected with Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce after their Super Bowl LIX defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this year.

They went to North Carolina’s Pinehurst Resort for some downtime together.

Amidst all of this, many fans have been wondering if Brittany and Taylor Swift have fallen out, with minimal public interaction between the two.

    Potential NFL wag drama

Swift did acknowledge Brittany‘s baby announcement with a quiet Instagram like back in January, but there’s been radio silence since-not even a comment for Sterling’s birthday earlier this month. Instead, Taylor has been making noise elsewhere-especially when it comes to Selena Gomez.

On March 22, Taylor took to Instagram to show major love for Gomez‘s new albumI Said I Love You First, which also marked the first big project with her fianc, Benny Blanco. “I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD,” Taylor wrote, tagging the couple and linking to the album.

It’s not just a typical shoutout. The excitement, the caps-lock energy-it all signals something more personal. Taylor and Selena go way back, and though they’ve spent less public time together in recent years, their bond seems as solid as ever.

Anger prompts Patrick Mahomes to take drastic action: Farewell to his faithful 'partner'

Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to criticism, but this offseason he’s responding in the most powerful way-through action. After being body-shamed in the lead-up to Super Bowl LIX for what some described as a “dad bod,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has returned to the spotlight with a transformed physique that has fans doing a double take.

The comments began circulating during Super Bowl week when photos of Mahomes surfaced online, drawing attention to his build. Despite his proven track record-including three Super Bowl rings and two MVP awards-social media trolls took aim at his appearance rather than his accomplishments.

But now, just weeks into the 2025 NFL offseason, Mahomes appears to be in the best shape of his life-and he’s letting the results speak louder than the noise.

Mahomes recently shared a video on Instagram of himself grinding through an intense workout session with his longtime trainer Bobby Stroupe. The clip came with a powerful message in the caption: “We shall be back to the Bowl next year.”

The quarterback’s intentions are clear-he’s using Kansas City’s Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles as fuel for the next chapter.

Golf outing with Kelce reveals dramatic body transformation

While his workout video turned heads, it was a recent leisure outing that truly sparked viral buzz. Mahomes was spotted playing golf with teammate Travis Kelce at the legendary Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.

A snapshot from the day quickly spread across social media, showing Mahomes with a noticeably leaner and more muscular frame. The photo silenced many critics who once poked fun at his build and served as proof of his renewed offseason focus.

The timing couldn’t be better. After coming up short in their quest for a historic three-peat, the Chiefs are reloading for another deep playoff run. Despite the 40-22 loss to the Eagles, Kansas City made its fifth Super Bowl appearance in six years-cementing its dynasty status in the modern NFL era.

Taylor Swift leans on Selena Gomez amid growing rumors about Brittany Mahomes rift

Taylor Swift has always kept a tight inner circle, but fans are picking up on subtle changes in her recent social moves-especially when it comes to Brittany Mahomes.

While Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce hit the green together at a golf tournament this weekend, Taylor was notably absent. And though she’s dating Kelce, she hasn’t been spotted with Brittany Mahomes since the Super Bowl, leading to growing speculation that things may have cooled between the two women.

Cause trouble! Taylor Swift’s involvement causes conflict between the Kelce’s and their work team

Swift did acknowledge Brittany’s baby announcement with a quiet Instagram like back in January, but there’s been radio silence since-not even a comment for Sterling’s birthday earlier this month. Instead, Taylor has been making noise elsewhere-especially when it comes to Selena Gomez.

Swift’s social focus shifts to Selena

On March 22, Taylor took to Instagram to show major love for Gomez’s new albumI Said I Love You First, which also marked the first big project with her fianc, Benny Blanco.

Sources told People that Taylor is focusing more on long-standing, meaningful friendships. And with both women in happy relationships-Taylor with Kelce and Selena with Blanco-it looks like they’re syncing up again, this time on a more grounded level.

Their reunion at the 2023 MTV VMAs and a girls’ night out last fall with Brittany Mahomes seemed to hint at a harmonious trio, but something seems to have shifted since then.

An insider shared with Entertainment Tonight that there’s no bad blood between Taylor and Brittany-just different priorities. Still, the lack of interaction, especially during key personal milestones, hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.

For Taylor, this might just be a season of recalibration. Whether it’s about boundaries or simply leaning on people who feel like home, her current focus appears to be on quality over quantity-and right now, Selena Gomez fits that bill.

  • Chiefs could find a Jerick McKinnon type of player in 2025 NFL Draft to help Patrick Mahomes

Chiefs could find a Jerick McKinnon type of player in 2025 NFL Draft to help Patrick Mahomes

The Kansas City Chiefs came into this offseason with some holes to fill. Although their Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was brutal for the team, it at least helped the front office identify clear areas of need. Chief among those needs is the offensive line, as well as wide receiver. But there might be another position on offense that the team seemed to be missing throughout the 2024 season.

The team’s running backs struggled to make a big impact in many games. Isiah Pacheco suffered a major injury, but him and Kareem Hunt only averaged 3.67 yards per carry combined. But going beyond just their performance on the ground, the team seemed to be lacking explosion in the passing game from that position. Samaje Perine did a serviceable job as the team’s passing down back, but he couldn’t replicate the success Jerick McKinnon had with the team in 2022 and 2023.

Patrick Mahomes shows off elite training routine right after NFL season ends

Could Chiefs be interested in TreVeyon Henderson to make backfield more explosive?

McKinnon was one of the best passing down backs in the league, both as a pass-catcher and pass-protector. He caught 13 touchdowns in his last two seasons with the team and kept Patrick Mahomes upright. The team could use a player like him, and there’s a specific player in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft that could intrigue the front office: Trevyon Henderson.

Taken from a Reddit conversation among analysts who have watched his film, Henderson is set to have a big role early in his career because of his passing down ability.

While he has not done it consistently, Henderson has also put together at least one high-level season as a pass catching RB, suggesting high upside in that capacity… The real X Factor is how well he pass protects; teams will trust him to protect the QB, which is unbelievably valuable.

This could be of particular interest to the Chiefs, who could use an electric pass-catcher out of the backfield. Henderson also had two, nearly three, 1,000 yard rushing seasons and scored double digit rushing touchdowns in three of four seasons at Ohio State. He can do it all, which could make Mahomes very happy.

  • Chiefs shake up defense after Super Bowl disaster: Here's who's out & why

Chiefs shake up defense after Super Bowl disaster: Here's who's out & why

The Kansas City Chiefs had a chance to do something historic-win three straight Super Bowls. Instead, they walked off the field at Allegiant Stadium on February 9, 2025, stunned and defeated. The Philadelphia Eagles handed them a brutal 40-22 loss, a game where nothing seemed to click for Patrick Mahomes and company.

Head coach Andy Reid, known for his steady leadership, took responsibility right after the game. “We didn’t really play well in any of the phases. I didn’t coach good enough,” he admitted. But while the Chiefs’ struggles were apparent to anyone watching, the real fallout from the loss is only just beginning.

Patrick Mahomes shows off elite training routine right after NFL season ends

Justin Reid: Cut loose and speaking out

Among the early roster casualties is Justin Reid, the Chiefs’ hard-hitting safety who played a crucial role in two Super Bowl victories. After three seasons in KC, the team decided to part ways with him on March 1, 2025-a move that shocked many fans.

Reid, however, wasn’t entirely caught off guard. In an interview on the Up & Adams Show, he revealed that he tried to stay with the Chiefs, but things simply didn’t line up. “I was actually trying to wait… to see if we could get something worked out. And then, you know, cards did not fold, and then it just didn’t work out,” Reid said.

The Chiefs’ decision to cut him signals a defensive reset, a move likely driven by cap space and the need for fresh talent. But Reid’s comments suggest that Andy Reid had a specific vision in mind for the team’s future-one that no longer included him.

Was Andy Reid’s Super Bowl strategy to blame?

While some blamed Patrick Mahomes or Travis Kelce for the Chiefs’ struggles, Justin Reid pointed to something bigger: the game plan itself.

In that same Up & Adams interview, he suggested that Andy Reid’s approach cost Kansas City dearly, particularly in the first half. “They jumped on-they just jumped out so quickly. And then once the bleeding started, it was hard to stop it and turn momentum,” Reid explained.

The Chiefs came into the game with a reputation for making big second-half comebacks, but against an aggressive Eagles squad, there was no time to recover. By the time KC adjusted, the game had already slipped away.

A fresh start in New Orleans

Though his departure from Kansas City was unexpected, Justin Reid didn’t stay on the market for long. The New Orleans Saints swooped in and signed him to a three-year, $31.5 million contract, bringing him back to his home state of Louisiana.

For Reid, the move is both a professional reset and a personal homecoming. The Saints get a veteran safety with championship experience, while the Chiefs now have to figure out how to replace a key piece of their defense.

  • Jalen Hurts smiles, the Philadelphia Eagles reached an agreement with a very important piece of the offense

Jalen Hurts smiles, the Philadelphia Eagles reached an agreement with a very important piece of the offense

The good news keeps coming for the Philadelphia Eagles. After securing their second Super Bowl in franchise history with an impressive victory over the Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes, the team coached by Nick Sirianni has reached an agreement with one of the most important members of the team.

The best ever! Philadelphia Eagles praise Saquon Barkley’s incredible athleticism and crown him as the GOAT

All-Pro offensive lineman Lane Johnson has officially renewed for the fifth time with the team, now with a one-year extension that will keep him with the current champions until the 2027 season.

The Eagles restructured Lane Johnson’s contract, extending it by one more year, and he will now receive $48 million over the next two years, with $40 million fully guaranteed-something that is undoubtedly deserved for a player who has been incredibly consistent in the NFL, especially with Philadelphia.

Lane was selected in the first round of the 2013 draft and has become a solid, almost permanent starter throughout his career in the league. He has been a five-time All-Pro, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, and most importantly, he has two Super Bowl rings-one won in 2017 against the Patriots and the most recent one against the Chiefs.

The 2024 season was spectacular for Lane Johnson and the entire offensive line of the Eagles

Philadelphia dominated the ground game, which was impressive with Saquon Barkley, who surpassed 2,000 rushing yards in the regular season, thanks to a line that was simply perfect with Johnson, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, among others.

In the playoffs, the Eagles scored 145 points, including 55 in the NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders and 40 in the Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs.

Finally, according to Pro Football Focus, Lane Johnson was among the best right tackles in the NFL in pass protection grading (88.1), meaning Jalen Hurts will continue to have a strong element to protect him in the coming years.

  • Patrick Mahomes' stardom overwhelms son Bronze who can't handle the warm welcome

Patrick Mahomes' stardom overwhelms son Bronze who can't handle the warm welcome

Patrick Mahomes is used to being the center of attention. Whether he is leading the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl or making an appearance at a big event, the three-time champion is always greeted with enthusiasm. But at the Kansas City Current’s home opener, while fans gave Mahomes a hero’s welcome as they walked down the tunnel, his young son Bronze had a completely different reaction, one that stole the show in the most unexpected way.

As Mahomes walked down the crowded corridor, carrying Bronze in his arms, the energy was electric. Fans approached to high-five him, shouting his name, trying to get the Chiefs superstar to pay attention to them for a few seconds. But Bronze had other plans. Mahomes hurried, walking faster at the sight of his baby’s reaction, who could not take any more of his dad’s fame.

Bronze doesn’t seem to enjoy the welcome for his dad

The scene quickly sparked conversations among fans. Some found it hilarious, calling it a classic “dad moment” that every parent has experienced. Others pointed out the contrast while Mahomes thrives in the noise and pressure of massive crowds, his son is still adjusting to a life where his father is one of the most recognizable faces in the NFL.

In a moment that many parents could relate to, Bronze covered his ears, visibly overwhelmed by the noise and chaos. It was as if the toddler had reached his limit, silently saying, “Enough of all this.” Mahomes, recognizing the situation, didn’t linger; he picked up the pace, swiftly moving through the tunnel while still managing to flash a few smiles. It was a rare glimpse into the delicate balance Mahomes must maintain between being a global sports icon and a dedicated father.

Mahomes has always been vocal about prioritizing his loved ones, making sure that his rise to superstardom doesn’t overshadow his responsibilities as a husband and father. Events like this show just how challenging that can be, especially when your child is still too young to fully grasp what it all means.

Mahomes may dominate the NFL, but off the field, beyond all the praise, he’s just like any other parent.

  • Patrick Mahomes is a victim of Chiefs mismanagement according to Domonique Foxworth

Patrick Mahomes is a victim of Chiefs mismanagement according to Domonique Foxworth

There is no denying the Kansas City Chiefs were put in their place by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

Jalen Hurts and his side came out 40-22 winners, but even that score is flattering, as at one point Philadelphia found themselves up 40-6.

Patrick Mahomes changes a fan’s life in one night

The heavy defeat showed that while the Chiefs had success this past season, more is needed if they want to add another trophy to their cabinet.

Despite that, the Chiefs haven’t made any big splashes so far during free agency. In fact, they decided to trade two-time First-Team All-Pro guard Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears – a move many feel weakens what was already a poor offensive line.

While there is still plenty of time to reshape the roster, especially with the NFL Draft a little over a month away, Dominique Foxworth doesn’t think the Chiefs are making the right moves so far.

In fact, he went so far as to state that the moves the Chiefs have made so far are hurting Patrick Mahomes.

“I watched the Super Bowl. That man looked like a victim to me. I assumed that it was obvious, like the Bears, it was obvious what they had to address. O-line. The Bears went and did it. The Chiefs lost their best o-lineman,” Foxworth said while speaking with Molly Qerim.

“Their guard, who was also their best tackle, left, and the way they answered it was by getting a backup tackle from the 49ers to be… his blind side protection. It does feel like they’ve failed him.”

Not everyone hates what the Chiefs are doing

Along with trading Thuney, the Chiefs have brought in Jaylon Moore on a two-year contract despite the fact he’s only made 12 starts in his four-year NFL career.

It’s a sign that the Chiefs continue to tinker with their offensive line ever since Mahomes was chased around by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Super Bowl LV defeat.

While the moves have raised some eyebrows, Jason McCourty believes that what the Chiefs are going through is simply part of the game.

“When you’re building a dynasty you’re going to lose players. That’s just the fact of the matter… Tyreek Hill, they watched him walk out of the door. Orlando Brown was another guy. Last year, L’Jarius Sneed left, and we talked about the hole that left in the secondary,” said McCourty.

“All season long we talked about how they need to find a replacement at cornerback. They never did, and this was still a team playing in the Super Bowl. I think part of building this dynasty is you have to find ways. “

  • Could the signing of DeAndre Hopkins by the Ravens end the Chiefs' dominance in the AFC?

Could the signing of DeAndre Hopkins by the Ravens end the Chiefs' dominance in the AFC?

DeAndre Hopkins reached a one-year agreement with the Baltimore Ravens this week, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, and the wide receiver finally fullfiled his wish of playing with Lamar Jackson. Hopkins arrives in Baltimore after his short spell with the Kansas City Chiefs (he was traded on the transfer deadline last season).

In the ten games he played with the Chiefs, Hopkins caught 41 passes for 437 yards and four touchdowns. During the postseason the WR completed three catches for 29 yards and scored a touchdown in three games.

Chiefs new nightmare! DK Metcalf gets traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers and makes them dangerous

The five-time Pro Bowler joins a young and upcoming Baltimore wide receiver group that includes Zay Flowers and Nelson Agholor and the Ravens hope that Hopkins can fill the No. 3 receiver slot.

After 13 seasons, the talented wideout is looking to win a Superbowl before he hangs up his cleats. With Lamar Jackson leading the offense, the Ravens are one of the best teams on the AFC. Jackson has improved tremendously in the pass game and now he has a new target to throw at.

    Hopkins celebrating a touchdown

There’s no doubt that the32 year-old Hopkins can still produce at a high level, having totaled 1,057 yards with seven touchdowns during the 2023 season with the Titans.

This one year five million dolar pact with Ravens is the definition of a prove it deal, but it’s also a great opportunity to end the Chiefs dominance on the AFC and get back to the SuperBowl, something Baltimore has been desperate to do.
