Harry and Meghan strike back: Archewell Foundation outperforms those of Obama and Clinton

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s Archewell Foundation has made quite an impact in their first year, outdoing both the Obama and Clinton foundations. According to data released on the foundation’s website, the organization generated $13,005,600 in revenue while spending $3,987,070.

This is a huge achievement, considering that the Obama Foundation raised $5.5 million and spent $1.9 million in their first year, while the Clinton Foundation raised $10 million and spent $2.9 million.

The Archewell Foundation has already awarded $3,096,319 in grants to over 40 organizations, focusing on key areas such as vaccine equity, relief centers, refugee resettlement, and building a better online world.

Additionally, they’ve spent $520,826 to deliver programs and campaigns that align with their priorities, including vaccine equity and conservation.

Archewell gives 80% of its expenses to charity

The foundation follows the standard practice for organizations of its size, with a 90/10 ratio of program services to administrative expenses. This ensures that 80 percent of total expenses go towards their programs, while 20 percent or less is spent on administrative costs.

Through their foundation, they have provided 12.66 million COVID-19 vaccines, helped resettle 174,497 refugees, served 50,000 meals to the hungry, and rescued 7,468 individuals from Afghanistan.

They have also supported academic fellows, created a guide on positive masculinity, and built a play space in Texas after a tragic school shooting.

Co-Executive Directors of The Archewell Foundation, James Holt, and Shauna Nep expressed their gratitude for the experience they’ve had over the past two years. “It has been rich with learning, growth, inspiration, and action. We’ve made new partnerships and strengthened existing ones,” they said.

The Archewell Foundation’s commitment to building a better world online is particularly noteworthy. The organization aims to work to restore trust in information and uplift communities both online and offline, locally and globally.

  • Are Prince Harry and Meghan declining attendance to King Charles's Coronation?

Are Prince Harry and Meghan declining attendance to King Charles's Coronation?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been officially invited to attend King Charles‘s coronation, but the couple has refused to confirm whether they will attend the historic event.

A spokesman for the couple said that they have received an email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the Coronation, and their decision on whether to attend will not be disclosed at this time.

Furthermore, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been asked to vacate their UK home of Frogmore Cottage by King Charles. The couple confirmed that they have been asked to hand back the keys and will have until the autumn to move their belongings out of the Windsor residence.

There are speculations that the eviction may prompt the couple to decline the Coronation invite. Tensions remain high between Prince Harry and his family, with reports suggesting he is not currently in contact with his brother.

Though the King is said to be keen on reconciliation with his youngest son, Prince William is allegedly more sceptical and does not want Harry to attend the Coronation after he was repeatedly targeted in Harry’s memoir, Spare.

Archie’s birthday clash and low popularity leave Harry and Meghan undecided on attending King Charles’s Coronation

The couple’s popularity has taken a hit, and they have been the target of public ridicule. A recent poll for Newsweek showed their approval rating had plunged to new depths in America.

Additionally, the date of the Coronation clashes with Archie’s fourth birthday, and if Harry and Meghan decide to attend, they will be unable to celebrate the day with their son.

Furthermore, security concerns may also play a factor as Prince Harry has repeatedly asked for armed police protection whenever he and his family return to Britain and has launched legal action against the Home Office for its refusal to grant this.

It is believed the case may go before the High Court in early April, but it isn’t known whether a ruling could be reached before the Coronation of King Charles III on May 6. Hence, Harry may decide not to go if the matter has not been ruled on by then.

The Coronation invite appears to have been sent to Harry by the Palace through formal channels, with an aide inviting them via email. The impersonal approach suggests relations between Harry and the King are still poor, and the Duke of Sussex may feel affronted by not being informed directly by his father.

  • Prince Harry is costing British taxpayers and some Californians about $360,000 per year in security

Prince Harry is costing British taxpayers and some Californians about $360,000 per year in security

Every time the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle set foot in the United Kingdom, taxpayers’ money, both in that part of the world and in other latitudes, alarms are raised due to the expenses that may be excessive or even unnecessary.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left Britain they renounced their security detail

This is due to the fact that Prince Harry initiated a judicial review before the Supreme Court 18 months ago after he was deprived of his right to have a security device when he retired from his royal duties in 2020 to move to the US alongside his wife Meghan

Despite his offering to pay for the protection, he was told back that UK police officers were not bodyguards for hire and following information from ‘The Sun’ newspaper, figures obtained through the Freedom of Information Act indicate that the whole legal process has already cost about $360,000.

The dispute between Prince Harry and the British royals also hits the pockets of British taxpayers living in California.

British royals spend but taxpayers end up covering their outings

Whatever the British royals spend, it is their taxpayers who pay for it, whether in California or wherever they live on the planet, since it is they and their money that is directly linked to the revenue of the entire United Kingdom.

So far the bill for the case, which has been running since the fall of 2021, includes about$240,000 in legal department costs, somewhere around $111,00 in lawyers, and almost $800 in court fees.

At the time, former Scotland Yard commander John O’Connor criticized Harry’s request for continued armed protection as an act of “total vanity.”

The Prince says his wife and two children feel unsafe in Britain, even though they continue to have armed guards on their visits for official functions and while at their home at Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

  • America 'falling out of love' with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

America 'falling out of love' with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

According to a prominent Royal expert commentator, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost American support as a result of their “vile” criticism of the Royal Family.

The Duchess, 41, might not go to King Charles’ Coronation, according to Angela Levin, who wrote biographies of the Duke of Sussex and Queen Consort Camilla.

“I think a lot of them don’t like it because they care about the family and they think they’ve been just vile about the family,” said Levin to TalkTV’s Mike Graham.

“And also they’ve said enough about it. How many times can you go on and on and on and on, criticising people, and not doing anything else more positive,” she added.

“I think Harry is very upset, he had no idea that there would be such a strong response from him discussing the way he lost his virginity.”

South Park makes fun of Harry & Meghan

“America is falling out of love with them it would seem, Angela,” he observed in response to a recent South Park spoof about the couple.

Once the Netflix docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the Duke’s biography Spare were out, Ms. Levin made her remarks.

With the release of Spare last month, there seems to be less support for Harry and Meghan on the other side of the water.

  • Kings Charles laughs off the idea of “bringing back Prince Harry”

Kings Charles laughs off the idea of “bringing back Prince Harry”

Prince Harry’s split from the Royal Family has been pretty drastic. ‘H’ is currently ‘seeking refuge’ in the US with his wife Meghan Markle, following the controversial release of his ‘reveal all’ memoir, Spare.

Giving everything that is going on, it’s no surprise that while carrying out royal duties, King Charles is receiving plenty of comments and questions about the current situation with his son.

As the monarch was meeting and greeting members of the crowd during a recent visit to the University of East London’s Stratford Campus, one attendee shouted “Can you bring back Harry?”

After initially not hearing what had been said, the King moved closer to engage with the member of the public. “Who?” he asked, to which the man responded: “Harry, can you bring back Harry?”.

Charles, perhaps unexpectedly, burst into laughter before carrying on greeting other members of the crowd. There was a touch awkwardness to his response and it sadly reflected the increasing separation between the two.

Charles’ coronation is due to take place in May and there is much speculation as to whether his son Harry will attend the event. In January, the youngest of the Princes declared he wasn’t going to commit to going, claiming “the ball is in their [Royal Family’s] court.”

  • Prince Charles' coronation planners set to avoid 'awkward' encounters with Harry and Meghan

Prince Charles' coronation planners set to avoid 'awkward' encounters with Harry and Meghan

Preparations for the coronation of King Charles III are underway, and according to sports in recent weeks, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will be invited to the event. That’s why those in charge of planning the event are already making adjustments to avoid awkward encounters between members of the British royal family.

The ceremony will take place on May 6

Everything indicates that Harry and Meghan will be present at the coronation, although they will not take part of it, but simply attend as any other guest. But planners will take every precaution to avoid any awkward encounters between the Sussexes and Charles or between Harry and his brother, Prince William.

Relations between the two families are not at all good since Netflix released the docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’, which was joined by the release of the book ‘Spare’, where Harry recounts his memoirs.

Charles III’s coronation will take place on May 6, and according to The Sun, so far there are no suggestions inside Buckingham that the Duke and Duchess will be excluded from the three-day event.

Invitations will be sent out this month

So far what is known about the ceremony is that the service will be held at Westminster Abbey, that it will last 90 minutes and that invitations will be sent out during February.

Harry and Meghan are on the list, which will include 2,000 people including royals, special guests and world leaders.

“They (Harry and Meghan) will certainly be invited, and we are working on the assumption that they will come,” one of the planners told The Sun, adding that the Sussexes are expected in the U.K. almost a week in advance. “It would be helpful if they arrived earlier so it wouldn’t be a total circus on the day,” he said.

According to a poll by that British newspaper, 78% of the more than 31 thousand readers who took part in a survey, do not want the Sussexes to attend the coronation.

  • Prince Harry's rivalry with his brother goes back years, 2009 video shows

Prince Harry's rivalry with his brother goes back years, 2009 video shows

Since January 10, the life of Prince Harry and all the British royals is on everyone’s lips thanks to the publication of ‘Spare’, the book written by the youngest son of King Charles III that reveals facts that have disturbed the Buckingham Palace.

One of the most discussed topics in the book is the relationship between Harry and his older brother, William, as it is noted that there has always been a strong rivalry between the two. One of the episodes Harry recounts is when the two lived together in Shropshire while training to be pilots at RAF Shawbury.

Harry enjoyed being with his brother while they did their military service

In his book, Harry notes that he thoroughly enjoyed being sharing a cottage with his brother that was 10 minutes from the Royal Air Force base in 2009, and recalls an interview they were both given that same year, in which William belittled him.

That interview has been re-circulated on the Internet and is making waves because it shows how the two brothers have always had competition between them.

“How much rivalry is there between you two?” a reporter asked. “None at all,” Harry replied, to which William nodded. “Everyone knows the Army is part of the RAF, so…” said Harry, as William cut him off. “I’m a former Home Calvary boy anyway, so it’s okay,” he said, referring to the regiment.

During the interview they shared from who did the dishes, who was tidier and Harry joked, “They’re going to think we share a bed now.”

    William enjoyed his pilot training

William stated that he enjoyed the training and was excited about the future, “I’ve got a long way to go before I finish, but I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead and flying. For me, I didn’t enlist in the forces to be coddled or treated differently. As far as I’m concerned, if Harry can do it, so can I,” he said. “It really doesn’t separate us that much of a difference.”

In ‘Spare,’ Harry recalled that interview, “While we were sharing that cottage we agreed to a rare joint interview, in an aircraft hangar in Shawbury, during which Willy complained endlessly about my bad habits. Harry’s a slob, he’d say. Harry snores.”

“I cleaned up after him and he didn’t snore. Besides, our rooms were separated by thick walls, so even if I snored it was impossible for him to hear me,” she said.

“The reporters were laughing their heads off at the whole thing, but I interrupted: ‘Bullshit, bullshit! That only made them laugh harder. Willy, too.”

“I want people to read my memoir and draw their own conclusions – I don’t want to tell anyone what to think about it, and that includes my family,” Harry says. “This book and its truths are in many ways a continuation of my own mental health journey. It’s a raw account of my life: the good, the bad and everything in between.”

Prince Harry omitted damaging Prince William stories in book: 'He would never forgive me'

The Telegraph writer Bryony Gordon visited Prince Harry allthe way in Montecito, California for an extended interview. She published two versions, the one on the renowned publication and the one on her personal Substack account. One of the most alarming quotes is directly linked to undisclosed information about Prince William and King Charles III. Prince Harry revealed that his book was cut down almost in half, there was so much material he could write a second book if he wanted. He made a decision to tell his editor to cut it down for two reasons.

King Charles makes first public appearance since the release of Prince Harry’s memoir

The first and most obvious reason was due to editorial purposes, the book needed to make some sense and have a structure. However, the other reason he decided to not include many parts of the story will definitely alarm the monarchy. Prince Harry revealed many interactions between he and Prince William weren’t disclosed. Also, interactions with King Charles III were also omitted. The reason? Prince Harry knows they would never forgive him if he divulged that information to the public. That makes everybody far more curious about the parts that were omitted in the book. Prince Harry has damaging information about his family and nobody knows if he will use it. They better not force him to do so.

Prince Harry’s revelation about Prince William

Here’s what the prince said: “Because on the scale of things I could include for family members, there were certain things that – look, anything I’m going to include about any of my family members, I’m going to get trashed for. I knew that walking into it. But it’s impossible to tell my story without them in it, because they play such a crucial part in it. And also because you need to understand the characters and personalities of everyone within the book. But there are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know.

“Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me. Now you could argue that some of the stuff I’ve put in there, well, they will never forgive me anyway. But the way I see it is, I’m willing to forgive you for everything you’ve done, and I wish you’d actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I’d really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife.

Tom Brady praised for Prince Harry interview… is there anything NFL's GOAT can't do?

As Prince Harry makes rounds in the press, a new unexpected name gets dragged into the British Royal Family’s sphere: Tom Brady. The QB, who is busy preparing for the Bucs NFC Wild Card battle on Monday (8:15 pm ET on ESPN), has been tagged on social media and praised for giving a “great interview” with the Duke of Sussex.

The only problem: it wasn’t him that gave the interview.

Why Tom Brady was praised for an interview he didn’t do

Thomas Matthew Bradby is a British journalist and novelist who currently presents the ITV News at Ten. He is better known as Tom Bradby. Which only bears a one-letter difference to that of the NFL star, hence the confusion.

Fellow political journalist Emily Maitlis took to Twitter to applaud her colleague, but mistakenly praised the seven-time Super Bowl champion instead: “Great interview by @TomBrady. This is fundamentally a tragic story of a kid who lost his mother in the most appalling circumstances – and never found the support to emerge from that darkness”

Users spared no time in mocking the British journalist

The replies poking fun at Matilis were swift. “Didn’t know Brady did interviews. Pretty talented guy to play football and interview princes”, one user commented. Jon Sopel, who hosts a podcas alongside Maitlis, responded to his friend saying: “Hey Maitlis – would be one helluva scoop if this int had been done by America’s quarterback.”

Piers Morgan was also made fun of after making the same mistake in a tweet criticizing Mr. Bradby and CNN’s Anderson Cooper. He then deleted the tweet after realizing his mistake.

Tom Brady‘s future is in broadcasting with Fox Sports. Will he ever interview Prince Harry or Meghan Markle? Stranger things have happened. He is also yet to respond to Maitlis.

Prince Harry reveals feeling guilty as he could not cry over the death of his mother Princess Diana

Prince Harry was in complete shock after the death of his mother and revealed to Anderson Cooper that he’d feel guilty for not being able to cry at the memory of his mother and also revealed that he would watch videos to see if he could.

The Duke of Sussex detailed that he wanted to cry and would focus on the memory of Lady Di and simply felt sad but his body somehow withdrew his tears.

‘There was this weight on my chest that I felt for so many years that I was never able to cry,’ he told Anderson Cooper in the 60 minutes interview.

Prince Harry would look at videos of his mother and could not shed a single tear

‘So I was constantly trying to find a way to cry, but… in even sitting on my sofa and going over as many memories as I could muster up about my mum. And sometimes I watched videos online.’ He elaborated.

Prince Harry revealed that during the procession to her mother’s funeral, he wanted to hide his shock and smiled as he would normally would, however, that made him feel sadder and guiltier.

Prince Harry recalls how the mourner’ hands felt wet

‘I remember the guilt that I felt, the fact that the people that we were meeting were showing more emotion than [William and I] were showing, maybe more emotion than we even felt.

‘There was a lotta tears. I talk about how wet people’s hands were. And I couldn’t understand it at first’ he acknowledged how the people where feeling.

‘Their hands were wet from wiping their own tears away. I do remember one of the strangest parts of it, was taking flowers from people and then placing those flowers with the rest of them. As if I was some sort of middle person for their grief. And that really stood out for me.’ He remembers as he told Anderson Cooper.
