    Prince Harry's memoirs prompts royal family to create a 'war room' to defend against attacks

    Faced with what they consider constant attacks by Prince Harry, through his book of memoirs ‘Spare’, which goes on sale on Tuesday, January 10, the senior advisers of the British royal family created the equivalent of a “war room” to deal with possible accusations.

    This is according to Page Six, which cites sources close to the royal family who, they say, discussed the situation since the meeting they had on the occasion of Christmas.

    There is a whole plan created to confront Harry

    The discomfort being caused by the youngest son of King Charles III has led to the development of a plan to deal with not only what he reveals in his book, but in the two interviews to be broadcast this Sunday, January 8, one in the United States (with Anderson Cooper on ’60 Minutes’) and one in the United Kingdom (with Tom Bradby for ITV).

    In addition to those, Harry has given interviews on ‘Good Morning America’ and will have one on ‘The Late Show’ with Stephen Colbert. An insider noted, “There were certainly fears about what Harry was going to write, and in particular they were worried about the very personal moments in their lives being retold.”

    William remains silent in the face of constant ‘attacks’

    A close friend of Harry and William assured The Times, “William will not retaliate, he never would, because he is dignified and incredibly loyal. William is an easy target because Harry knows he won’t retaliate – how many shots can you take at a sitting duck?”

    “It’s cruel, cowardly and very sad that William keeps taking hits. He’s keeping quiet for the sake of his family and the country,” the source added.

    Officials at Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace are known not to comment on the book, just as they declined to comment on the Sussexes’ Netflix show “Harry & Meghan.”

    At the final episode of “Harry & Meghan,” the Netflix docuseries starring the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry discussed what he misses most about life in “the institution.”

    “I miss the weird family gatherings when we’re all sort of brought together under one roof for, you know, certain times of the year. That I miss,” he said.

    “You know, being part of the institution meant that I was in the U.K. so I miss the U.K., I miss my friends.”

    The duke continued by saying he had “lost a few friends in this process as well” as a result of his and Meghan Markle’s choice to stand back and relocate to California.

    Additionally, he said that he moved to Santa Barbara’s Montecito “because I was changed.”

    “I changed to the point that I’d outgrown my environment. Therefore, this was the most obvious place to come,” he said while adding that it was a place where his late mother, Princess Diana, might have ending up living anyway.

    “There’s times when I’ve been angry, but I can’t be that angry because I genuinely feel that I and we are exactly where we’re supposed to be,” he said. “We’ve made it to the other side.”

    Prince Harry to reveal even more in his new book

    With the release of the Duke of Sussex’s much awaited biography, “Spare,” on January 10, Harry’s revelations will no doubt continue.

    “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think,” said the Prince on a press release.

    He also added that he was “excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

    The Netflix series, ‘Harry & Meghan’, continues to cause controversy at Buckingham Palace, and sources close to the British royal family have been giving updates on what’s going on in there.

    From what has been said, is that King Charles III will not publicly respond to comments made by his son Harry in the miniseries, and it has even just been reported that, presumably, Harry and Meghan will indeed be invited to the coronation, next year.

    The siblings remain estranged and their relationship is not improving

    On the show, Harry accused his brother of yelling at him during a family gathering, where Queen Elizabeth II just stood by and watched her grandchildren fight. He also said William broke a promise the two had made about never confronting their problems in the press. Harry accused William of being trapped in the “institution” of the monarchy.

    “I think that’s it,” a source told PageSix, referring to the brothers. “They’re done.”

    Another source told Vanity Fair that a rapprochement between the brothers is nearly impossible. “There’s a great sense of mistrust, it’s the reason William doesn’t talk to Harry, because he’s nervous that anything he says could end up in a book or a TV series.”

    In parallel, Palace officials are rebutting the comments opening the program, suggesting that the royal family declined to respond to any of the allegations made in the documentary.

    Harry and Meghan are ‘sad and bitter’, per reports

    One of the media outlets that has had the most statements from sources close to the royal family is PageSix. One of the most recent is that one person commented that Harry and Meghan seemed “estranged, sad and bitter” at their $14.5 million home more than 5,000 miles from London.

    Another source missed the ‘friendship’ between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and actor Tyler Perry, who had them living for a few weeks at his home in California and is now godfather to their daughter Lilibeth. “Do they have any real friends, or is it just Oprah Winfrey?” she expressed.

    The royal family is nervous about the upcoming publication of Henry’s memoirs, in a book titled ‘Spare’, due out on January 10.

    “It’s obvious from watching, or should I say enduring, the whole series that these two shameless con men were filming footage for potential exploitation even before their wedding, and the main reason they have been so determined to protect their privacy is because they wanted to sell it themselves.”
