In the electrifying encounter between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)<\/strong> and Punjab Kings (PBKS)<\/strong> at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024<\/strong><\/a>, LSG emerged victorious by 21 runs.<\/p>\n

LSG Innings<\/h2>\n

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, LSG posted a formidable total of 199\/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Quinton de Kock<\/strong> top-scored with a blistering 54 off 38 balls, well-supported by Nicholas Pooran\u2019<\/strong>s explosive 42 off 21 deliveries and Krunal Pandya<\/strong>\u2018s aggressive 43 off 22 balls. For Punjab, Sam Curran<\/strong> led the bowling attack with figures of 3 wickets for 28 runs.<\/p>\n

PBKS Innings<\/h2>\n

In response, PBKS fought hard but fell short, managing to score 178\/5 in their 20 overs. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan<\/strong><\/a> played a brilliant knock of 70 runs in 50 deliveries, while Jonny Bairstow<\/strong> contributed 42 runs off 29 balls. However, the rest of the batting lineup couldn\u2019t quite match the required run rate.<\/p>\n

Debutant Mayank Yadav<\/strong> was the standout bowler for Lucknow Super Giants, claiming 3 crucial wickets for 27 runs in his 4 overs, helping his team secure the victory.<\/p>\n
