On Sunday, the ageless one recorded 40 points, including nine three-pointers, in a 116-104 victory over the Brooklyn Nets<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n James’ nine makes from three-point range tied a career-best and put him alongside another Laker great in the record books. According to Matt Williams of ESPN, James is only the second player in the franchise’s rich history<\/a> to make nine three-pointers in multiple games, joining late Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, who accomplished the feat an incredible four times.\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, James is the first Laker to make nine threes in a game while shooting 90 percent from beyond the arc.\u00a0<\/p>\n A career 37.4 percent three-point shooter, James has shot at 41.6 percent this season. Which, if you’re keeping score at home, is higher than Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry (40.2 percent).\u00a0<\/p>\n James also continued his domination of the fourth quarter on Sunday. Against the Nets, James scored 17 of his 40 points in the fourth quarter.
