Chennai Super Kings (CSK)<\/strong> played their third match of IPL 2024 against Delhi Capitals (DC)<\/strong>\u00a0on a Sunday at Visakhapatnam\u2019s ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, and the evening proved to be memorable one for MS Dhoni<\/strong><\/a> fans.<\/p>\n With the help of half-centuries from Rishabh Pant<\/strong> and David Warner<\/strong>, DC scored 191 runs for the five wickets and set a target of 192 for the Super Kings.<\/p>\n During the run chase, CSK made a very disappointing start. They lost the wickets of both their openers for just seven runs inside three overs. Experienced campaigners, Ajinkya Rahane<\/strong> and Daryl Mitchell <\/strong>stitched a 68-run partnership for the third wicket to put their team out of trouble.<\/p>\n Dhoni claimed his 300th dismissal in T20 cricket after taking a brilliant catch of DC opener Prithvi Shaw<\/strong>. The veteran wicketkeeper-batter, has achieved many records in his career, but this record will be very special to him as he is only player to do so.<\/p>\n Dhoni, aged 42, is still performing like youngsters on the cricket field and can add some more scalps to his name in the upcoming games.<\/p>\n During CSK\u2019s run chase, Dhoni created a stir with the bat. Walking in to bat the 17th over, the former CSK skipper scored 37 runs in 16 balls, including 4 fours and three gigantic sixes.<\/p>\n Despite his quickfire knock, Dhoni was unable to guide his team to victory<\/strong><\/a>. However, his innings was enjoyed by the fans on social media.
