Seems everyone wants to drop their new flavors<\/a> and formulas just as spring is starting to hit (some of us, anyway). The latest GU Raspberry Lemonade flavor not only sounds delicious, it\u2019s supporting a good cause, too.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from this flavor\u2019s sales go to Rising Hearts to support their Running on Native Lands<\/a> initiative. That program aims to make land acknowledgements at road and trail running events a more common practice.<\/p>\n

Why? Because many of the lands we all recreate and race on were originally tribal lands where Native Americans lived before, you know, colonization. Acknowledging this helps us all connect with the land and those from who it was stolen\u2026and help us all learn new and more ways to be better stewards of the land so it\u2019s there for future generations to walk, run, and race on.<\/p>\n
