Before building up my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/ClWimAuJbMD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supply Chain Bastard<\/a> (SCB), much of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikehugger.com\/posts\/snow-methow-valley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fat biking in the snow<\/a> I\u2019ve done has been on a Farley. \u00a0I didn\u2019t think anything was lacking on that bike\u2026it was fast and fun. But what Trek has done is add all sort of mounts and accessories and refocused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trekbikes.com\/us\/en_US\/bikes\/mountain-bikes\/fat-bikes\/c\/B509\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their fatbike<\/a> on adventures in the snow.<\/p>\n<p>Or any weather, actually.<\/p>\n<p>Their new expedition-oriented frame is built to get spec\u2019d out..the best part, it offers bolt-on fenders. A must, if you\u2019ve ever experienced ice spray in your face on a ride.<\/p>\n<p>I have.<\/p>\n<p>The model shown below is the Farly 9 Winter Edition. The fork offers a shorter offset that increases reach and better balances the weight. At the under $5K price point, the bike is remarkably well equipped. It\u2019s great to see a brand like Trek offering a line complete with accessories.
