Chelsea manager Graham Potter is adamant he feels the support of his players, despite acknowledging the team’s current run of form has landed him ‘in peril’.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Blues are stuck on a run of two wins from their past 15 games and are closer to the relegation zone that the top four, with Potter’s future at the club under immense pressure ahead of a crucial meeting with old rivals Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.<\/p>\n Fan support for Potter is growing weaker with each passing game, but the boss remains confident that the Chelsea<\/a> squad are still behind him.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel the support of the players, I feel the support of everyone here,” he said. “I understand the frustrations externally but among the players, it is a desire for us all to do better and that is the pleasing thing. The results haven\u2019t been good but we are still fighting for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n Questioned about concerns over his players’ performances, Potter admitted that his coaching methods may have to change after clearly failing to yield the desired results during his first six months in charge.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you\u2019ve had the results we have had clearly it is not perfect otherwise you would have better results,” Potter confessed. \u201cClearly it is a process of how to get our message across better. How can we structure things in a way to help the players? Because that is what we are here for.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen results aren\u2019t good, from my point of view you have to accept that we haven\u2019t done it well enough.<\/p>\n \u201cNow that\u2019s the reality we are in and I am sure the players will take responsibility and admit they can do better as well. We are in it together. I don\u2019t feel any loss of anything.”<\/p>\n Potter, who also insisted he feels supported by those in charge at Stamford Bridge, went on to acknowledge that the team’s run of form has left him in a perilous position.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you are a head coach and you start on this journey you say: ‘Well if the results aren\u2019t good enough then you know your job is in peril’,” he said. “That\u2019s the life we lead.<\/p>\n \u201cI just have to accept that and do my best and try to improve the situation we are in until there is a point where we are not able to go forward.
