Rio Ferdinand thinks Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice would both choose Man Utd over Liverpool if offers were on the table from both clubs.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils have had a good season under Ten Hag so far with the Dutchman already having something to show for his time at the club after Man Utd beat Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final last weekend<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have been having a terrible time this season but Klopp\u2019s side have regrouped in recent weeks to gain ten points from their last four matches and climb up to sixth.<\/p>\n

Man Utd and Liverpool are both likely to improve their midfield in the summer transfer market with Borussia Dortmund\u2019s Bellingham and West Ham\u2019s Rice linked to both sides.<\/p>\n

But Ferdinand doesn\u2019t think there is any doubt that Bellingham and Rice would be more keen on joining Man Utd than they would arch-rivals Liverpool.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you put the two teams on a graph,\u00a0Manchester United\u00a0are going in one direction and Liverpool have stagnated,\u201d Ferdinand told BBC Radio 5 Live<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say Liverpool are in decline, but other teams are catching them up and maybe going beyond them. If I\u2019m a player, say\u00a0Jude Bellingham\u00a0or\u00a0Declan Rice\u00a0\u2013 two of the most in-demand English midfielders that may get moves this summer \u2013 and someone says, \u2018Manchester United or Liverpool, where are you going?\u2019, forget my Manchester United ties, I have to go with United right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way the team looks, the way the squad is shaping up, the way the managers are navigating their teams\u2019 fortunes and who I see being more successful in the upcoming future \u2013 I really would be sitting on the side of United.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liverpool host Man Utd on Sunday in the Premier League with Jurgen Klopp delighted to have Fabinho back to near his best.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is. It\u2019s obvious. Now everybody can see Fab is getting back; that\u2019s exactly what we need obviously,\u201d Klopp said after of the match at Anfield.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou cannot explain it really, it\u2019s just there, it happens. I was so happy about the last game of Fabinho, to be honest. So happy.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo many things were exactly like we need from him \u2013 bringing the long foot in here and all these kinds of things.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a really good game and that\u2019s exactly how we were used to having him: \u2018the lighthouse\u2019, \u2018the hoover\u2019, all these kinds of things.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a point when you take things just for granted, you lose the ball there (and you think) \u2018Yeah, no problem, because there is Fabinho\u2019 and we have the ball again.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course you miss these kinds of things in moments when it\u2019s not there and how can you be prepared for that? We don\u2019t have five number sixes in the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was really good and I\u2019m really happy for him and happy for us that he looks really like the old one again.\u201d<\/p>\n
