Former Indian batter Gautam Gambhir is once again in the headline for his blunt statement. The left-handed batter is known for his open-hearted opinions and conversion and this time he has taken AB De Villiers on the radar. In a cricket show, Gambhir went down to compare the former South African batter AB De Villiers and the stylish Indian batting star Suresh Raina.<\/p>\n
While drawing the comparisons between the two batters, Gautam Gambhir marked Raina ahead of De Villiers. He said that be it a performer or a player, Suresh Raina is any time any day ahead of the South African legend.<\/p>\n
Gambhir said that the South African batter has only played for his personal records and there are no trophies or ICC titles to his name.<\/p>\n
While having an interview at star sports, Gambhir said, \u201cAB de Villiers only had personal records in the IPL. Anybody could have scored runs in Chinnaswamy stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking on de Villiers\u2019 IPL achievements, Mr. 360 has participated in 184 games and scored 5162 runs at a solid average of 39.71. De Villiers has forty-fifties and three centuries to his name in IPL.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Raina has also given outstanding performances. He played 205 games with the CSK franchise, scoring one century and 38 half-centuries with an impressive strike rate of 136.76 and an average of 32.52.
