In Match 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025<\/strong>, Gujarat Titans<\/strong> put on a clinical show to register a commanding 7-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad<\/strong> at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal. After opting to bowl first, the Titans\u2019 bowlers restricted the hosts to a modest total of 152\/8 before the batters made light work of the chase with 20 balls to spare.<\/p>\n Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad never really got going against a disciplined Gujarat bowling attack. Despite decent starts from Abhishek Sharma<\/strong><\/a> (18 off 16) and Ishan Kishan<\/strong> (17 off 14), the home side failed to build any significant partnerships. Nitish Kumar Reddy<\/strong> tried to hold the innings together with a patient 31 off 34, but the lack of momentum hurt the scoring rate.<\/p>\n Heinrich Klaasen<\/strong>\u2019s 27 off 19 and a fiery cameo by skipper Pat Cummins<\/strong> (22 off 9) gave SRH a late push, but they could only manage 152 for 8 in their 20 overs. Mohammed Siraj<\/strong> was the standout bowler for GT, delivering a match-winning spell of 4\/17. He was well supported by Prasidh Krishna<\/strong> (2\/25) and Sai Kishore<\/strong> (2\/24), while Rashid Khan<\/strong> kept things tight despite going wicketless.<\/p>\n Chasing 153, Gujarat Titans had an early hiccup when Sai Sudharsan<\/strong> fell cheaply and Jos Buttler<\/strong> departed for a duck. However, skipper Shubman Gill<\/strong><\/a> rose to the occasion with a classy 61 off 43 balls, striking nine boundaries to keep the chase on track.<\/p>\n Washington Sundar<\/strong>, promoted up the order, played a game-changing knock of 49 off 29 deliveries, showcasing his aggressive intent with five fours and two sixes. The duo\u2019s 85-run stand for the third wicket laid the foundation for victory. Sherfane Rutherford<\/strong> then applied the finishing touches with a brisk 35 off just 16 balls, sealing the win in 16.4 overs.<\/p>\n For Sunrisers, Mohammad Shami<\/strong> impressed with the ball, claiming 2 wickets for 28 runs, while Cummins picked up one.
