After finishing third in the Western Conference<\/em> during the regular season, the Lakers<\/strong>, led by the stellar duo of LeBron James and Luka Doncic<\/strong>, will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/strong> in the first round of the playoffs. <\/p>\n On April 19th,<\/strong> the Crypto.com Arena<\/strong> will be buzzing with playoff energy as Los Angeles<\/strong> fans look forward to the start of what could be another epic march to the championship they so desperately want. <\/p>\n Shaquille O’Neal starts to feel the effects of age while attempting moves “meant for the young”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n Expectations are high among the fans as they clearly have a great team and could undoubtedly be crowned champions. LeBron<\/strong> and Luka <\/strong>know exactly how to play in the playoffs, and when the team needs them, they are ready to make a difference. <\/p>\n “As a team, I think we can win a championship, to be honest with you. And the reason why is because I know that everybody in the locker room believes that. And they also believe that no matter what their role is, they’re going to help us get there,” said Austin Reaves.<\/strong><\/p>\n Watch out for Luka Doncic, <\/strong>who also spoke out, making it clear that they want to be champions and have the names behind them to get there. <\/p>\n In the mixed zone, Luka Doncic<\/strong> answered some questions from reporters and mentioned that they are ready to compete for the championship <\/strong>they want so badly.<\/p>\n “I think we have a great team. We have players that are willing to give it their all. Everybody sticks together, the chemistry is great. So I think we definitely have a chance,<\/em>” Luka <\/strong>said. <\/p>\n And the most curious thing of all is that they will face the Timberwolves<\/strong>, an old acquaintance for Doncic<\/strong>, as he faced them last year when he played for Dallas <\/strong>in the Finals<\/strong>, where he was crowned champion <\/strong>and even won the MVP award<\/strong>, so the good memories are there.<\/strong><\/p>\n Remember, that was last season. The Timberwolves are a different team <\/strong>now. They have made several changes <\/strong>to their defense <\/strong>and offense<\/strong>. They are not falling behind and will not be easily impressed as they have also declared themselves ready to beat the Lakers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n It will be a real thriller with a lot of excitement.
