South African speedster Anrich Nortje has been ruled out of the second Test against West Indies due to \u201cmild groin discomfort,\u201d following South Africa\u2019s win at Centurion. He has been kept out of the second game as a precautionary measure. He has been released from the squad and no replacement has been named for Nortje. South Africa bowling coach Charl Langeveldt<\/strong><\/a> was also released from the squad due to family reasons.<\/p>\n

Anrich Nortje<\/strong><\/a> picked 5\/36 and 1\/48 in the first game which the Proteas won by 87 runs. With the injury, the home side only has three fast bowlers in the squad \u2013 Gerald Coetzee, Kagiso Rabada, and Marco Jansen and all-rounder Wiaan Mulder to choose as his replacement in the playing 11.<\/p>\n

South Africa will play West Indies in Johannesburg at the Wanderers in the second Test starting from March 8. The Proteas will then host the West Indies for a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series.<\/p>\n
