The GM added that Rodon&#8217;s injury is &#8220;not serious.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rodon, who signed a six-year, $162 million deal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/mlb\/articles\/scott_boras_finished_carlos_rodons_yankees_deal_while_munching_on_snacks_provided_by_red_sox\/s1_13132_38249342\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with the Yankees<\/a> in December after his second straight All-Star season, was expected to begin this spring as New York&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/depth\/_\/name\/nyy\/new-york-yankees\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 2 starter behind<\/a> ace Gerrit Cole.
