Paul’s journey in professional boxing has been rapid<\/strong>. Just five years ago, he was a pioneer of “influencer boxing,”<\/em> and today, he’s the most successful fighter from that era<\/strong> of content creators stepping into the ring. <\/p>\n

Critics often argue that Paul has only fought influencers or past-their-prime athletes<\/strong>. But with an 11-1 record<\/strong> and a recent victory over Tyson himself, the “Problem Child”<\/em> is proving his legitimacy-and now, he’s adding another weapon<\/strong> to his arsenal.<\/p>\n

Jake’s secret to mental domination<\/h2>\n

Ahead of his fight against Mexican boxer Julio Csar Chvez Jr.<\/strong><\/a>, Paul revealed one of his strategies for success: hypnosis<\/strong>. Just like Tyson early in his career, Paul is working with a hypnotist<\/strong> to sharpen his focus and mental edge. <\/p>\n

Recently, hypnotist Marczell Klein<\/strong> shared footage of his session with Paul online. During the session<\/strong>, Klein told him, “Everything you’ve been through now, your current mindset, whatever limiting beliefs you have, everything you’ve been through, that’s your brain.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Klein then added, “I’m taking your body and I’m putting a brand new brain. Like there’s like a new personalilty and it has nothing to do with, it’s just like a clean slate.”<\/em> The session wasn’t just about resetting his mental game<\/strong>-it also involved precise instructions on how to optimize his performance<\/strong> in the ring.<\/p>\n

A savage in the ring <\/h2>\n

Paul has worked with Klein for several years<\/strong>, and one of his hypnotic affirmations is particularly intense<\/strong>: <\/p>\n

“We’re going to program you to be an absolute savage in the ring-no fear, never get tired. Then we’ll merge that identity with your current self, and I’ll give you something to activate it.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Tyson<\/a> famously underwent similar hypnosis sessions with therapist John Halpin<\/strong>, at the recommendation of his trainer Cus D’Amato<\/strong>. In his autobiography, Undisputed Truth, co-written with Larry Sloman<\/strong>, Tyson credited hypnosis as a factor in his rise to boxing greatness. <\/p>\n
