Manchester United are among ten teams at risk of relegation next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n That\u2019s the view of former Newcastle and West Ham boss Alan Pardew<\/a>, who has kept a close eye on events at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n 4<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> United posted their worst season in the Premier League<\/a> era with their 15th-place finish last term.<\/p>\n The Red Devils won just 11 of their 38 games, losing a whopping 18 times.<\/p>\n They registered their worst ever goal return, netting just 44 goals in the league while they shipped 54.<\/p>\n As bad as it got on the pitch, turmoil ensued off it as Amorim became embroiled in high-profile fallouts with Marcus Rashford<\/a> and Alejandro Garnacho<\/a>.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Brazilian winger Antony saw an upturn in his form after securing a loan move to Real Betis in January, helping the La Liga side reach the UEFA Conference League final.<\/p>\n In response to their dismal campaign, United have managed to secure just one signing this summer in the \u00a362.5million capture of Wolves striker Matheus Cunha<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 20-time Premier League champions saw an initial bid for Bryan Mbeumo rejected but are yet to meet Brentford\u2019s asking price with a second offer.<\/p>\n With Tyrell Malacia and the returning Jadon Sancho<\/a> joining Antony, Rashford and Garnacho in training separately from the rest of the squad<\/a> as they push for exits before the transfer window shuts, Amorim\u2019s squad remains in short supply.<\/p>\n Pardew believes the tide is unlikely to turn any time soon for the Red Devils and predicts another hellish campaign ahead.<\/p>\n Asked who is most at risk of relegation next season, Pardew told talkSPORT: \u201cAll the teams in that bottom ten including Man United. You need to have an eye on that club.\u201d<\/p>\n 4<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> 4<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> The 63-year-old doubled down on his prediction adding: \u201c You\u2019ve got five big first-team players training on their own.<\/p>\n \u201cThat does not send the right message to the rest of the players at the training ground because what players feel is that, ‘one day that might be me.’\u201d<\/p>\n Pardew recognises the extra firepower Cunha will add to United\u2019s misfiring front line.<\/p>\n The Brazilian netted 15 times in the league for Wolves last term while Amorim\u2019s \u00a3108.5m attacking duo of Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> and Joshua Zirkzee scored just seven league goals between them.<\/p>\n However, Pardew believes club chiefs are prioritising the wrong area of the pitch in the current window and are not addressing the holes in United\u2019s back line.<\/p>\n But the former top flight boss conceded that to do so may be a result of their ability to offload the five players deemed surplus to requirements.<\/p>\n 4<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> \u201cThey\u2019ve brought in the top player from Wolves. Great technical ability but that wasn\u2019t the big issue,\u201d Pardew added.<\/p>\n \u201cThe issue is keeping goals out and at the moment they haven\u2019t changed much from that.
