A<\/span>fter several months of uncertainty, at the beginning of June, Aaron Rodgers <\/a>finally made his decision and signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. So the future Hall of Famer arrives in a very tough division, where the heavy favorites are Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens and Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, he arrived at the New York Jets a couple of years ago full of hope – but it turned out to be a bitter stint.<\/strong> In his first year, he got injured in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills, and in the second season, the Jets missed the playoffs with only five wins.<\/p>\n

Even so, despite the poor team results, Aaron Rodgers posted impressive stats: 28 touchdown passes and only 11 interceptions, and he came close to 4,000 passing yards. <\/strong>The quarterback showed he still has fuel left in the tank.<\/p>\n

The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/strong> are tied with the New England Patriots with 6 Super Bowl wins – the most by any team in NFL history. Breaking that tie is the big dream for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is now under head coach Mike Tomlin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As usual, Aaron Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, <\/strong>where he talked about his expectations as a Steelers player. Pat McAfee asked the quarterback if chasing “Seven Lombardis”<\/strong> was on his mind, and Rodgers responded:<\/p>\n

“Everyone’s 0-0 right now,” <\/em><\/strong>he said. “All 32 teams feel like they can win a championship, but in reality, it’s just a few. I always say 6 to 8, but really it’s 8 to 12. Pittsburgh is one of the cornerstone franchises of the NFL. Everyone knows who they are.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So, Aaron Rodgers is clear about it: he has a team that can fight for a playoff spot,<\/strong> but the ultimate goal is to go deep in January – where the Steelers have been stuck for many years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
