She is five years younger than the Memphis Grizzlies star and is currently a senior at Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Morant has been the most popular NBA player over the past few weeks. The 23-year-old guard has been very controversial, which is why he&#8217;s been frequently talked about. Due to this, many fans began wondering about his family.<\/p>\n<p>Teniya is following in her brother&#8217;s footsteps. His sister, however, is much shorter. Despite standing at 5-foot-3, Teniya Morant has still found ways to dominate her opponents.<\/p>\n<p>On Jan. 31, 2023, Ja Morant&#8217;s sister announced that she received a scholarship offer from Mississippi Valley State. She is the daughter of Tee and Jamie Morant and is the only sibling of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/basketball\/ja-morant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Ja Morant<\/a>. The young basketball star grew up in Dalzell, South Carolina with her family.<\/p>\n<p>Both Teniya and Ja have worked out with their father, Tee, and he&#8217;s had a huge influence on both of them.<\/p>\n<p>Teniya has also praised her brother and his incredible basketball skills. However, she doesn&#8217;t want to be compared to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/basketball\/memphis-grizzlies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> superstar all the time.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;What he does, yeah I&#8217;m proud of him,&#8221; Ja Morant&#8217;s sister said. &#8220;But he&#8217;s him, and I&#8217;m me.
