Barcelona <\/a><\/strong>have confirmed that they will play their forthcoming game against Real Madrid <\/a>with the logo from Rosalia<\/strong>‘s ‘Motomami’ album emblazoned on the front of their jerseys. The shirts will also be worn in the next women’s El Clasico.<\/p>\n

The men’s game will be played at the Camp Nou on Sunday 19 March at 21:00 (CET), with the Catalan singer’s logo taking the place of ‘Spotify’, the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor in the latest shirt innovation in partnership with the streaming service.<\/p>\n

Rosalia thrilled to be on Blaugrana jersey<\/h2>\n

The singer herself has declared she is delighted to be involved and to have her album promoted on such a famous shirt in such a historic game. <\/p>\n

“I’m really excited that a club as big as Barcelona will wear this shirt, especially in such big games,” Rosalia <\/strong>told Spotify’s official blog. <\/p>\n

“Football and music have a lot in common, because of the emotions experienced at a concert and a game.<\/p>\n

“Especially due to the energy created by so many people experiencing the same moment and putting all their attention on one event.”<\/p>\n

Drake proved a curse<\/h2>\n

Last time Barcelona <\/strong>were involved in a publicity stunt like this, it turned out to be a jynx and they lost the game. That was the 3-1 defeat at the Bernabeu when they wore Drake<\/strong>‘s logo on the Blaugrana shirt.<\/p>\n

There will be a limited number of these special edition Barcelona x Rosalia <\/strong>jerseys available to buy through the official Barcelona store. <\/p>\n

Prices start at 399.99 euros for these potential collectors’ items. <\/p>\n

There will also be an ever rarer version released, featuring a glow-in-the-dark ‘Motomami’ logo and ‘premium packaging’ which will be signed by the players and sold for almost two-thousand euros each.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
