\u201cIt\u2019s an entire star cast in SRH,\u201d Aakash Chopra on SRH\u2019s bowling lineup for IPL 2023: <\/strong>Former India batter Aakash Chopra is in awe of SRH\u2019s bowling lineup ahead of the IPL 2023 and reckons bowling will be Sunrisers Hyderabad\u2019s strength. In his show AakashVani on JioCinema, Chopra said, SRH can field an all-India bowling unit in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League and will probably be the only team to do so.<\/p>\n Notably, SRH accumulated a star-studded bowling unit ahead of the IPL 2023. The management looked bullish on getting the services of quality spinners including Adil Rashid (INR 2 crore), Akeal Hosein (INR 1 crore) and Mayank Markande (INR 50 Lakhs) during the IPL 2023 Auction. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, the franchise had already retained some of the best pacers available. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan, Karthik Tyagi, and Fazalhaq Farooqi were retained by the management.<\/p>\n The cricketer-turned-commentator reckons SRH has plenty of options to choose from on pacers and spinners in the IPL 2023. <\/p>\n \u201cThis team\u2019s bowling \u2013 it is an entire star cast. Fast bowlers \u2013 plenty of them \u2013 Fazalhaq Farooqi, Marco Jansen, Kartik Tyagi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan. In spinners, they have Mayank Markande, Akeal Hosein, Washington Sundar and Adil Rashid,\u201d said Chopra on the \u2018AakashVani\u2019 show on JioCinema.<\/p>\n With the luxury of having so many bowlers under the hood, SRH will be able to field an all-India bowling unit and will probably be the only team to do so, said Chopra.<\/p>\n \u201cThe fast-bowling unit and the overall bowling unit is looking very, very good. Their bowling is their strength because they are probably the only team in the tournament that can play an all-India bowling attack,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n He then predicted that SRH can opt to go with the pace battery of T Natarajan, Umran Malik, Kartik Tyagi and Bhuvneshwar Kumar together in a playing11 during IPL 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cIf they want, they can go with Adil Rashid. Otherwise, if you want to go with four fast bowlers and a spinner, the entire fast bowling can be made up of Indian bowlers, which will have T Natarajan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik and Kartik Tyagi. All four are capable of playing in the XI,\u201d said Chopra.<\/p>\n In another suggestion, Chopra said SRH can even field a playing11 consisting of three Indian pacers and an overseas fast bowler in the form of Marco Jansen along with the spinning services from Washington Sundar, who is a designated all-rounder in the team.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can play three out of the four, and then you can play a spinner in the form of Washington Sundar, who also bats, and then Marco Jansen and a little bowling from Aiden Markram.
