In an interview with IGN, Paul Heyman stated that he wished he were at the birth of Bron Breakker. The former Intercontinental Champion has since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/wwe\/rumor-absolutely-heartbreaking-new-update-bron-breakker-s-wwe-status-reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">undergone hernia surgery<\/a>, and it is unknown when he will be cleared to return to action.<\/p>\n<h2>Paul Heyman praises WWE RAW star CM Punk<\/h2>\n<p>Wrestling legend Paul Heyman recently suggested that CM Punk does not get enough credit for his authenticity.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <em>SHAK Wrestling<\/em>, Paul Heyman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/wwe\/news-paul-heyman-breaks-character-cm-punk-it-s-him\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">stated that there were not too many differences<\/a> between the person Phil Brooks and his CM Punk persona. The legend noted that Punk spoke from the heart and meant what he said on WWE television.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;His authenticity. [Why?] Because we all know his given name is Phil Brooks, and we all identify him as CM Punk, because when he&#8217;s out in the ring, the two merge, and I say that because he doesn&#8217;t speak from the perspective of a certain persona. He speaks from the heart. He means what he says, and he says what he means. And that&#8217;s whether he is as Phil Brooks or as CM Punk. It&#8217;s not even a blurred line. It&#8217;s an open border.
