Clark looked like she was caught off guard by Miller&#8217;s remarks, though she played along afterward on social media. <\/p>\n<p>On the latest episode of the &#8220;7PM in Brooklyn&#8221; podcast, guest DeMarcus Cousins asked Anthony about his reaction to Miller&#8217;s statement on live television. The New York Knicks legend shared that he was also surprised by it before giving his own Clark comparisons. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;When he said Payton Pritchard, it just caught me off guard,&#8221; Anthony said. &#8220;I see where he going at, he wasn&#8217;t completely tripping, but he was tripping. She got like a little Steph (Curry), (Tyrese) Haliburton. She play a little like Luka, like she knows angles. She manipulates you on offense.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>DeMarcus Cousins agreed with Carmelo Anthony about Reggie Miller being way off about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/basketball\/caitlin-clark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Caitlin Clark<\/a> and Payton Pritchard. Cousins categorized Pritchard as a scorer rather than a playmaker. <\/p>\n<p>To be fair to Clark, she has always been compared to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/basketball\/stephen-curry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Steph Curry<\/a> because of her range and 3-point shooting. She also draws out crowds like Curry, and her impact on offense and drawing defenses is similar. <\/p>\n<p>Clark is also a pretty good playmaker like Tyrese Haliburton and Luka Doncic. As for Pritchard, he has a different game, though he&#8217;s averaging a career-high 5.3 assists per game this season. <\/p>\n<p>The Indiana Fever superstar would later play off her reaction by <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CaitlinClark22\/status\/2018862772692594779\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">sharing a clip of Pritchard<\/a> scoring a basket on X, formerly known as Twitter. <\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>NBC Sports will bring back Caitlin Clark as guest analyst<\/h2>\n<p>Caitlin Clark&#8217;s debut as an analyst for NBC was a resounding success. Her insights were really helpful, but her reactions went viral, especially with Reggie Miller&#8217;s comments dominating the headlines that week. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IBuMz6zwZQs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Front Office Sports<\/a> in early February, NBC Sports president Rick Cordella shared that they are trying to get Clark back as soon as possible. They were very happy with how things turned out. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I think she had a good time,&#8221; Cordella said. &#8220;She played horse with Jamal (Crawford) the other night, which I think was a fun little segment, and for everything I understand, she enjoyed being on TV with our crew and hope to do it again soon.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Cordella added that NBC was able to get Clark to join as a guest analyst because of Xfinity.
