It seems that every NFL offseason seems to have at least one high-profile contract negotiation play out in Dallas, this one seems to be no exception. The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> are reportedly set to apply the franchise tag to wide receiver George Pickens while the two work towards a long-term deal.\u00a0 <\/p>\n While the tag means the Cowboys will have the rights to Pickens for the season, it doesn\u2019t guarantee the star wideout will actually play without a long-term contract.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou always hope that your players are going to be in here and working hard.
