Edwards has led the Wolves to the Western Conference finals twice. However, he has come up short in both instances and has struggled to lead them to the NBA Finals. <\/p>\n<p>Winning the NBA championship is still one of Edwards&#8217; biggest dreams. On YouTube, the star started a new series called &#8220;The Album.&#8221; On Thursday, he posted the first episode, &#8220;All Star Mini Movie,&#8221; and showed fans a look at his time during the 2026 All-Star Weekend. <\/p>\n<p>He stated throughout the show that he wants to win a title before turning 30. He&#8217;s planning on winning in the NBA because he wants to try his hand at the NFL.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cEspecially if I get one while I\u2019m still young. I get one before I turn 30, I\u2019m definitely going to try and play football,\u201d Edwards said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI might try to go quarterback, probably backup quarterback. I ain\u2019t really got to play unless my starter get hurt.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>After seeing what Edwards has planned for his career, most fans online took time to discuss it. Some fans couldn&#8217;t help but compare him to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/basketball\/michael-jordan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Michael Jordan<\/a>. In a 2023 episode of comedian Marco Summers&#8217; show &#8220;Open Thoughts,&#8221; the topic of playing football and hoops professionally was discussed. <\/p>\n<p>Edwards was asked if there has ever been a player to play in the NBA and the NFL. The Wolves star said this: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I think I might be the first one.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But he told Summers that winning an NBA championship with the Timberwolves is his priority. Edwards stated that before attempting anything else, he must &#8220;handle his business&#8221; in the league.<\/p>\n<p>Edwards began playing football as a running back when he first became interested in sports.
